This may be the end of the road for Carolina.
I'm not a fan of any particular NHL team. But in any sport, it's great to have a team that is slightly above all. A team that everyone wants to beat, and use them as the example of the highest standards. It helps the sport and the quality of the competition as well. And the consistency over the 3 seasons shows, that it can be this Florida team. Dynasties make it interesting. Not a one season wonders. The NHL needs teams like that.

As it turns out from the first two games, the Leafs were a much stronger opponent for the Panthers than this vaunted Carolina… Toronto simply did not press the Panthers in the fifth game and, undoubtedly, their best goalie, Stolarz, who played excellently before that, got injured, and Woll was not up to the level of decisive games…
