  1. Can you please discuss the Preds possibility of signing Aaron Ekblad if the Panthers don't? Seems like he would be a good fit for Josi. Thanks

  2. If you go to the "projections" tab on puckpedia it will tell you the preds will have 17.3M in cap space come July 1st for the 2025-2026 season as things currently are. The cap is going up 7.5M (woah) and yes it does consider buyout retention, etc. obviously Evangelista will subtract from that sum once he is signed as well

  3. Predators have great players on the 1st and 2nd line…. I know, but players can’t score 40 goals in every season…

we don’t have a ton of great 3-4 liners…. Letting trenin and Sherwood go, was an absolutely stupid move…. There was speed and grit and skill…. Sherwood leaves and gets 19 goals in Vancouver

We got an overpaid defenseman from Carolina that doesn’t look like close to the player we thought we were getting!!!

Do not blame Saros…. Goalie can only do so much, you can’t carry a team every game and our defense was pretty much nonexistent!!!

    We need some big changes

  4. To the defense of Saros, but at risk of pouring gasoline on the Burnette situation, we can see the "decline" of Saros occur the moment Burnette took over as coach. The stats don't lie on this. The last 2 seasons under Hynes, Saros out up a .918 and .919 SV% and had 20.7 and then 46.7 goals saved above expected. The first 2 years of Burnette, both of those stats have taken a nose dive. Saros's play to me as of recent has more to do with coaching system and a change in priority going from more defensively inclined to offensively inclined. Obviously these aren't the only things that matter, but it is pretty telling when you see such dramatic changes in performance and there being a clear explanation for why

  5. AK/EL, great discussion. Obvious answer here for me is Brady Skjei as far as guys that need to play better. Colton Sissons yes, but problems here is no one—hardly any player on this team played well. Brady is a solid 2 way guy and the defense was horrendous. Saros, look people gonna criticize every dang player on this team but the defense was really really bad. Skjei needs to be better and be the co partner Josi deserved here. Roman can’t play the freelance offensive style with out a solid 2 way D that’s Brady Skjei. The 2 mil per is a steal…he’s got to get better and once you see better defense you’ll see Juice get more wins. He got no help.

  6. We need big chances and We got an overpaid defenseman from Carolina that doesn’t look like close to the player we thought we were getting!!!
