I think Carolina used up all of their energy, grit,luck, etc.. against the Caps. I believe the Caps beat themselves….anyways, its over for carolina.

So we are going to get a 6th straight season of a Florida team in the Stanley Cup finals? What are the mathematical odds of that happening if we were to bet on that 6 seasons ago. Plus, the odds of the Carolina Hurricanes getting possibly swept in the Eastern Conference Finals for their 4 straight Eastern Conference finals are mathematically low as well, but looks like it will happen. More proof that the multi billion dollar gambling industry is rigging the NHL and not just the NFL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR etc.

As a Bruins fan watching the Panthers beat them into submission 2 years in a row in the playoffs. All i can say is that i love the way the Panthers play. Smart, Gritty, few mistakes, capitalizing on the other teams mistakes, unselfish, tough. And Bob is a beast in the playoffs. Glad Marchand is on the team now. He fits in well with that group. Hope they win the cup again. Maybe someday the Bruins can build a team suited for playoff hockey but until then GO PANTHERS
