Will Ehlers stay? Or will he walk?
He has a way better fit in Carolina. I'm hoping he resigns aswell as much I love him. He will be treated better else where
I hope they do sign Ellers ! He’s the faster skater on the team . But he should be playing more minutes. If he did who knows how many goals he can score!!
I think he stays however with more ice time. He seems to really like being here.

I kinda want ehlers to leave! Hear me out, with the cap going up its not going to be possible to keep everyone and with lambert, yager, barlow, chibrikov coming up its not a priority! Its sad but im taking the core 4 of scheifele connor perfetti and vilardi going forward and figuring out the other spots down the line with the prospects or someone young and cost controlled so we dont lose someone like connor. At the end of the day i dont want ehlers to leave but if it puts losing connor at risk then ill pack ehlers bag for him!

I want him to stay but I believe he will leave. We also need to free up some top line minutes for all the forwards prospects eventually.
I checked and ESPN doesn't have him with less TOI/game than Appleton are you taking overall TOI? Not a fair comparison since he missed games
In my opinion Cole Perffeti should be on the chopping block, devoid of speed and size and inconsistent. Would much rather keep vilardi ehlers samberg
I really want him back but I'm unsure if cap works out. I'm hoping that we let Tanev go just because he falls over himself too much and I want Lambert and Chibby to make the jump. I'd hope our top 9 looks like

Perfetti-Lambert-Ehlers
Iafallo-Lowry-Chibrikov (this third line will be a grindy defensive based one with Chibby adding the youth, extra speed, and offence.
But if Ehlers does go I'd want him to go to Carolina not only because they are my second favourite team but his playstyle is built for them and also they have been interested. However if I had it my way he would stay. But we know Samberg getting 8X8, Vilardi 7.5X6 (most likely, then Ehlers will get 8.5-9.3 so that is gonna add up fast.
I would let, and hope, Appleton walk!
Concerned with Ehlers injury history.
Gotta sign him, no question there. There will be cap space and he is here now and playing well, plus he wants to be here. If things go sideways or cap space is needed a few years, trade him and get something back, his value will be there.
He will want too much money to sign him. He is 29, so a long term deal he will want makes no sense, especially considering he is fragile and always getting injured.
