Yanks are looking rock solid now that the closer/set-up position has been properly established. This year's team is miles ahead of last year defensively. The infield is rock solid now that DJ/Jazz are at 2nd. 3rd base defense is solid as well but not much offensively. The outfield only has a hole in left with Dominguez but I am more than happy to let him learn on the fly and take his very good offense as a trade off. Judge in right is his more natural position. Grisham and Belli in center is a very good tandem as well. AND THEN we will be due to get Gil, Stanton and Jazz back after the all start break to reinforce the rotation/line up. Team is a true contender for a title again this year.

The lack of base running fundamentals from highly paid professionals NEVER ceases to amaze me. I played at a high college level and can guarantee in Little League I might’ve made the mistake on the base paths Grisham made once,But possibly not due to fear of coach repercussions. Today’s game is an overpaid joke.
