Spencer Carbery, Capitals players discuss what to expect from Alex Ovechkin

Man what a specimen Ovie is, what if he scores 50 next year, is 1000 on the table?
I want 1000
The Caps have unfortunately failed to build on Ovi breaking the goal record in their quest for the 2nd SC but the good thing is Ovi would be more hungry for the cup next season. As long as the Caps are the cup contenders Ovi would be strongly motivated to keep playing and may extend his stay in the NHL beyond the current contract. At 40 Ovi is still playing at the highest level, competing for trophies against guys nearly half his age, drawing fans to stadiums, he is simply the coolest old guy in the history of the game.
