97.1 are absolutely clueless when it comes to hockey. It's a radio show by and for generic Bud Light "sports fans"
The Red Wings are not going to do business with this magnitude with the Leafs.
Habs fan here, Matthews is way better than Larkin. That's not happening unless the Red Wings throw in a couple of prospects and draft picks.
Other teams can offer much better than Larkin +
Take Valenti's word with a grain of salt, he likes to put out a lot of hypotheticals that won't come to pass. Just your average Sports Radio host that is trying get fan interaction and callers. its a fun thing to talk about even though 99 percent of us know it would never happen.
While I'm not for it, it would certainly be interesting to imagine how different the Wings and Leafs would be if such a trade were to take place. But to be completely serious, this won't happen. Larkin isn't leaving Detroit, Matthews isn't leaving Toronto, and the Wings have more than one player — a prospect at that — on their "untouchable" list.
lol yeah right to trade larkin for matthews that will never happen. LMFAO
Shock Jock radio. It's just clicks. Now you're talking about it. Now I'm talking about it. This is why it exists.
A 9 minute video for a TMZ level report probably wasn’t necessary
A much better trade would be Larkin to the Habs for 2 first round picks, Dach and Xhekaj.
the most underrated center for the most overrated? I'll pass
That guy on 97.1 doesn't know hockey or the nhl at all lol
As a leafs fan.. I'd rather ship Auston out than lose marner
You murdered Valenti's name 😂
Not gonna happen. Toronto ain't getting rid of their biggest player, their new Captain, and guy that just not long ago signed a massive contract. And an even bigger no since they're also not gonna even fathom this idea with the looks of Marner walking and Tavares being a big question mark.
Do you have any idea what your talking about ever video you make is straight nonsense and it is the most random stuff from the most random sources please get a grip and fix your voice as well it’s incredibly annoying that your a fan of the team I like
Matthews is Joe Thorton 2.0, a guy who never did anything come playoff time.
The Bruins saw this early and then did things to win a Stanley Cup while San Jose played golf.
As a wings fan i would be super freaking sad but also pumped for the future
Valentin is the single biggest detroit hater i actually hate him
Matthews aint going anywhere wo a goalie, he controls his contract rn
I stopped watching Valenti as they began to dive more and more into the WIngs. There is 1 guy on that show that has any sense of hockey. I used to watch for Detroit Lions content, but as the team became successful, one would think the criticism would soften, but it became more ridiculous and aggressive. Do NOT listen to a single thing this radio show has to say about hockey.
Omgosh… No
One on one trade?
Leafs should trade this Muppet ASAP!!!
