The fact everyone forgot the Panthers are the most well rounded team in the playoffs is funny to me.
Still believe Cup is going to the west this year.
They know they will get away with murder that is why. Dirtiest team in League and have been so for almost the seasons now. Got rid of their clean players last off season didn't they?.
Some hockey teams are dogs. They're great, very solid hard playing teams.
Some teams are wolves, like dogs, but faster, stronger and make deep playoff runs.
And some teams are all Alpha Wolves. You can't sleep on anyone because no matter who's on the ice… they can and will assert their dominance!
Panthers are just that good of a team, this is the team that beat the record setting bruins and won the cup last year, they had injuries this year which is why they weren’t the number 1 seed.
And when they score 5 goals they never take the foot of the gas.
They’re making quick work of Carolina like a farm team. Makes you question how the leafs hung on as long as they did and not get swept.
Part of it is that this is the easiest matchup Florida has had so far in the playoffs. It's like people forget that the Metro division is the weakest in the NHL and whichever team comes out of it has gotten mopped by whoever comes out of the Atlantic for several years running. The East winner was decided on Sunday when the Leafs folded in a game 7 like always
For me, Luostarinen been the best Panther at these playoffs.
The impressive Canes might be out well before 7 games.
