  1. Not addressing the lack of talent or the erosion of the top 6 fwd group which started with trading Hall for nothing, letting Bertuzzi walk, the retirements of bergy and Krejci and letting Debrusk walk. Then we traded a goalie for a 4th liner and the most expensive back up goalie and a lottery ticket. Then replacing them with Brazzeau, Johnson, Jones, tufte, koepke, wahlstrom and Lindholm etc.

  2. KEEPING DON SWEENEY! IT WAS HIS TEAM TO PUT TOGETHER, BUT HE STILL BLAMED THE COACH, JUST LIKE HE DID BRUCE CASSIDY (WHON THEN WENT AND LED THE KNIGHTS TO THE CUP!)

  3. They overpaid on unproven talent. Stupid contracts to players that had no right to get what they wanted. None of them has a Cup.

  4. They had a slow start and never picked up intensity. To many turnovers and to much time in their zone.

  5. Where Did It All GO WRONG For The Bruins? The start of last years free agency. Giving a way too big contract an Overrated Center and defensemen. Then paying a goaltender who has never proven he could play more than 50 games. Which gobbled up a big chunk of the salary cap. Last but not lease letting a consistent 25 goal a year goal scorer leave the team for only 5.5 million and get nothing in return. This is why Sweeney needs to go. I bet he will stiff Geekie. Give him a bridge contract 2 year 4 million a year. The problem is not using up the salary cap, it's paying the wrong players the big bucks and stiffing the players that deserve the pay day. Case and point Brad Marchand the Bruins have stiffed him his entire career. If he hit free agency 6 year's ago he would have easily got 9 to 10 million a year.

  6. i think it was bad between Don / Cam Vs. Monty. Id bet he didn't want to coach the Bs anymore & the Bs didn't want him anymore. That is why the contract offers were insulting. It wasn't going to work & Charlie/Jeremy Jacobs will not fire Cam Neely. Not ever unless Cam breaks the law in some way. Now, Cam could fire Don. That could 1000% happen but Cam Neely is the Boston Bruins. Remember John Henry "larry luchino runs the Red sox" this is that.
