@Edmonton Oilers

How much belief do you have in the Oilers as they reach the WCF?

Todd Fuhrman joins SC with Jay Onrait for another edition of Todd’s Odds, where they discuss how much of a believer he is in the Oilers ability to win a Stanley Cup this season, why the Hurricanes odds to win the Cup aren’t higher, who he likes to win the NBA Championship this season, whether he likes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to win NBA Finals MVP, and more.

  1. When the Oilers are healthy and they play as a team they can beat anyone, they beat the king's, beat Vegas so heads up guys you can do it. Believe! Go Oilers Go.

  2. ? This is just the eastern media upset that their Leafs lost. They are now trying to move some of their anger and frustration to other fanbases out of jealousy.

  3. Stars in 6, when its real hockey not River Hockey the Oilers wilt. Oilers lack of discipline they have not fixed will doom them.

  4. Why are we doubting the Oilers? They beat them last year, and this year Edmonton as a deeper team then Dallas by a mile, and players are healthy vs last year. The real question is "Can the Stars beat the Oilers?" and the answer is a simple no. Stars won their series with ref assistance too many times, and this will show vs a team that is faster than the Jets and have more talent in every position. The "Rentanen" parade will stop quite soon, you'll see.

  5. Nothing worse than a spoiled fan who only had to wait 5 years till his brand new team won a cup. Shut your mouth, their are fans waiting almost 60 years for that.

  6. Holy of course this is will be the same as last yr. Except this yr will be a breeze.. 4 or 5 max.. they didn’t do anything for most of the series against the jets. Helly a different goaltender in the playoffs..

  7. I see the oiler fans using fancy stats and bullshit to justify their pick. We beat the avs without miro or robo. Miro looked absolutely deadly in game 6. Add rantanen and granlund and this series is over in 5. Lets go stars

  8. I'm looking at Dallas' so called depth and it seems non-existent. Benn, Seguin, Duchene are all old and not producing. What have Johnston and Robertson done? Marchment has been invisible. All of their depth guys are minus players.

Their defense is also suspect. Heiskanen and Harley are very good. Lindell is pretty solid. But there's a drop off after that with Ceci, Petrovic, Bischel.

  9. It’s about time the Cup revisited Canada. And McDavid/Draisatl need at least one in their career so why not?

  10. … again, with the incredulous murmurs of the despondent eastern sports broadcasting monopoly, give it a rest… there's still room on the Canadian bandwagon.

    Hop on…😉👍

  11. So tired of the gambling foolishness of this channel, but when the good thing its less of the Onrait drivel…. What a CLOWN??

  12. Yes, and at the same time Stars can beat the Oilers. Same as anyone Conf finals team can beat each other. What is the point of this discussion.

  13. Dallas is a very good team don’t get me wrong but I have never felt this much confidence in the Edmonton oilers i think we are. Dangerous team as well

  14. The Oilers are not the team to sleep on. The last 4 years proves that and this year is proving to be another stat sheet positive

  15. U said this last year and look what happens. Never bet on the Oilers most of them almost in there prime

  16. Can't wait for this series and see who will be victorious. I think Stars need to take both game 1 and 2 at home in order to have a chance at going to the Cup but doubt Oilers will let that happen.
