As a actual leaf fan, I apologize for the behavior of my fellow "Fans" booing the crap out of our own team, I myself do not stand for that behavior and the Leafs don't deserve that kind of treatment. They don't deserve to have jerseys thrown on the ice, they don't deserve to watch videos of "Fans" acting like whiny children and burning their jerseys, just cause professional athletes they never met didn't play to their massive standards. The response from Leaf fans was so bad that your team actually took the high road, and came to defend our boys, with Marchand and Maurice flabbergasted at the boos and treatment the players get in their own barn, with Maurice saying that the Panthers just got some lucky bounces, and that while the Panthers did have a good first 10mins, the Leafs had a good next 10mins, while calling out the hypocrisy of the media if the 10 mins were reversed. I don't think I'd ever see cats fans doing what Leaf fans do…
If you ever see Eck's video featuring the responses from Leaf fans after Game 7, you'll see me at around 13:48 going off on a 5min rant against Leaf Fans and the Toronto media, how every single day the Leafs have a camera shoved in their face, having to answer questions from media personnel that don't even play themselves, and no matter what they say, it's always treated like they don't care enough, I've had enough of the fucking toxicity of Leaf fans…
Your team still plays pretty dirty, but honestly, I've gained a lot of respect for the Panthers, especially since they've come out to defend the Leafs' performance, and it's shown me what happens when a city takes a team for granted. Go Cats Go, Go Canes Go, I'm now neutral in the east and don't have much hate your y'all anymore
