I would try and trade up and get him with our 2nd pick. Grab one of the consensus picks at #6. Back injury is risky
I like the scenario to trade up with the other first round picks. Move up a take McQueen in the teens.
We're not taking McQueen except for a big old trade up with the Colorado pick and more.
If the top two guys are gone, and you can't get Misa, Schaefer, Martone or Hagens, take a shot with him. This is not a talent-stacked draft, none of these other guys are blue-chip, so I would take a chance on someone that might be undervalued and have top tier upside.

I am 100% out on this guy
Flyers need size, McQueen & Martin have that. But they also need skill & speed, in those areas both are questionable. McQueen's an injury risk, Martin's a reckless play risk.
We need a 1c, a guy that can playmake and score with size which is caleb desnoyers. Both frondel and caleb could be 2 way threats, but one a play maker and the other is a sniper. Both need to work on what the other has.
McQueen is a risk but the reward could be huge, any other team that don’t have Flashback to a top draft that could not for fill the expectation due to injurie, may look at it differently, I DON’T, we can’t reach at 6 positions, So no McQueen or Martin at 6, O’Brien as a legit case but I would not pick him at 6
Flyers took tank one more year to spread the risk.
Can’t hit home runs if you take check swings
No way to McQueen. 6’5 IS too tall when you’re talking about longevity. Hockey is a sport where your posture is leaning over a stick; back problems already at 18? Hard pass. A 6’5 player sounds great if you’re a d-man, goalie, or Dave Brown. Skill forward? Nope. Also, JVR never even reached 50 points in any season in PHI.
