Let's go! 🥅🏒🔥
Go Kings go
He has just signed up for a Lose Lose situation…
A lot of negativity around Holland from fans for some reason. He's legit as they come. Oilers are yearly contenders because of this man. Look at the oilers roster pre- Holland.
Go Kings Go
1:20 man love that, love how we keep running a country club for our FO :/
First foegele then holland now im guessing woody…edmontons sloppy seconds. Jus like a passed around ex gf 😅😅. Kings franchise is that desperate.
This is a pretty sweet gig for him. Gets to live in LA, the team is already really good. I'm an Oilers fan and have no bad feelings towards him. He made the Oilers great. Wish the best for him and hope the Kings have success. Maybe next year the Kings can get a different first round matchup.
Im psyched on this hiring. This man has a proven track record. Plus, what im hearing him say is hitting right. With zero ego and tons of respect for what is already in place. GO KINGS GO!!!!
Why hasn't he signed Lewis yet?
Would he be interested in going after Connor if he doesn't get the cup this post season?
Drew and Kopitar are way past prime and another year older. Robitaille and Hiller were associated a long time ago via the Dead Things and Uncle Kenny was there to help that old love boat set sail. I want a contending Kings team that will have the ‘nads needed to jettison the love in and make hard decisions, rather
Than play nice politics like Rob Blake did with his pony pal Pokey Luc and take these Kings to the next several levels. I hope Ken H. Will go out and get a few more Kuzmenkos and catapult the Kings into a contending team
Again. Kings Nation is pulling for you, Mr. Holland! You have proven you have the chops to make us King fans proud once more!
GKG and welcome Ken!
I’m sure he’s well accomplished and will be a lot better than our previous GM let’s face it. Blake wasn’t the best fit for the Kings. However, still discouraging that LA looks towards Edmonton once again.
I’m an Oilers fan and I liked Holland. When he came in, the Oilers were on the cusp of McDavid walking. He turned us into a perennial contender. Good guy and made some good moves.
Go Kings Go!
Kings would still be playing but that challenge by their dumbass coach cost them and turned the whole series around
Byfield scares me, same size, skill, acumen as Mario, Jumbo Joe and Lindros. They will kick in the front door soon, Holland promised us a cup final and delivered here in Etown.
Experience experience experience Luc has picked the right guy for the job. You don’t make a move just to make a move. 7:05 Holland just wants to win, doesn’t care about leaving his imprint, if it’s Blake’s team that wins, great! He’s not going to do something just to make his mark. His team will be ready to make a move when the right situation comes.
Go KINGS go!!!
Ken Holland is saying a lot of the right things. He wants to turn LA into a perennial playoff team and that's something that the Kings have never really had.
Just a word of advice Kings fans – he LOVES veterans. Broberg and Holloway he left in the wind to dry, never even tried to negotiate a bridge deal with them. In fact he had Broberg on the roster most of the year in the press box. Hopefully he's learned from that major screw up.
Honestly for Kings fans doubting Holland, he transformed the Oilers into the contender they are today and will be for years to come. This team can get back to being the 2012 and 2014 Championship teams. As an Oilers fan, Kings will enjoy the rewards from Holland. Enjoy Kings fans!
Ken was a great GM for the Oilers and he will be a great addition to the LA Kings!!!
Good luck Ken.. thanks on building the oil 😊
Something about this hire it's a good hire and we got one finally now it's time to bring a Stanley Cup to Los Angeles where it belongs🏆👑🏒🌃
IMO, Holland wasn't the best choice (putting it mildly) and there were better options like Mike Futa and Mark Yannetti that Robitaille should've hired instead. Not only would they be better overall as GMs but they're both younger and would have likely be around longer and not be short term fixes.
As much success as Holland has had, he's had many major mistakes too including bad signings/extensions like Jeff Skinner, Darnell Nurse, Cody Ceci, Kris Russell, Zack Kassian and Jack Campbell to name a few. Let's also not forget some of the bad trades he's made as well, like Athanasiou, Kesselring, and Derick Brassard to name a few.
That's bad enough but for Holland to still retain Jim Hiller as head coach despite his colossal blunders this past playoff is even more outrageous. Holland shouldn't be excusing Hiller's playoff failures because of his previous regular season successes or because "everyone makes mistakes" mentality. If that's how Holland thinks then the Kings have truly made a mistake in his hiring. The playoffs is the bottom line in overall measuring success, not he regular season, the latter being just a gateway to the playoffs. His history with Hiller is likely the biggest reason why he's staying and why Holland was hired in a big way by Robitaille because of their history together in Detroit. Nepotism shouldn't be the biggest reason someone is hired and the Kings may very well learn that the hard way next season.
A much better option would've been someone like David Carle, a young (35) and very promising head coach who's won multiple US national titles like the NCAA and NCHC and international titles like the WJC. He would've been much more qualified but instead the Kings are unwisely taking another chance with Hiller (let alone Holland) who has a history of playoff failure (let's not forget despite doing a fairly good job leading the Kings to the 2024 playoffs after Todd McLellan was fired, they STILL LOST to the same Oilers team that's beaten them now for 4 straight years and counting).

Will have to trade Doughty and Kopitar while he can get something for them.
God the Kings wanna be the Oilers so bad it’s sickening. What a poverty franchise.
I miss Kenny money in Edmonton, he turned our franchise around finally despite what people on Twitter will say
