  1. Nah. Rutherford is making excuses for him so he's easier to trade. I'm with the commenter below… they should never have moved Miller. Move heaven & earth. Beg. Plead. Do whatever it takes. Get him back to Vancouver.

  2. Petey needs to be traded before his July deadline. So if he stinks next year, he doesn't have a choice where he goes

  3. The Aquilini's not having built a practice facility has been the bane of that franchise. How many free agents refuse to come to Vancouver over the collective of issues. The Media, the fan base, the ownership, and lack of practice facility. Can Francesco please just sell the team already and move on? Give us some owners who will spend some money. They already charge us an arm and a leg for tickets… And the price just went up For a team that failed to make the playoffs, had the Jack Adams award winning coach quit, and the super-star defenseman wants to leave, it's overly expensive.

  4. Canucks management and owners, Sticking to their guns.
Trade away the future, for mediocrity now!

  5. The Non Touchable Young Pieces in My Opinion : D Petey and Willander

Everyone else should be on the table ex Mancini,Lekkermaki,Raty,Kudryetsev, 2025 1st round pick etc

  6. Trades yes. Garland, Hronek or Myers, Hughes. Sasson. Hoglander maybe I say do not trade this guy. Sabers will not sign one D on left side. Any one is good for Canucks. Canucks will not trade first pick. Carbonneaue or Lakovic are your future wingers.
Nashville will be looking for guys like Garland and Sasson. Montreal for a guy like Hronek. ILS for guy like Hughes.

  7. I just realized I’m wasting a lot of attention and energy on this when I’m not even invested or making money from this. It’s just entertainment so I’m gonna go enjoy my spring and wait for the news from the training camps cause then we’ll have a real idea.

  8. Keep both defence Peteys, Hoggy can go, Hronek can go , Boser can go, Myers can go and of course EP40 can go. Garland will be highly sought after due to his motivation and line driving ability but do you want to give away that on a team that lacks drive most nights.

Nuks need size and grit up front, too soft, ok maybe regular season but just look how teams disappear in the playoffs with it gets rugged.

  9. Why is it, after all the issues with players who have under performed over the last decade, the bottom line always winds up being Canucks Medical Staff being the cause of the issue? Where do these clowns get their PHD's from? TEMU??

  10. Just change the name of the team to the Vancouver Excuses at this point. Zero accountability for anything in this organization.

  11. High school hockey programs in Minnesota have better hockey practice facilities than a multi billion dollar professional hockey team does.

  12. Can we all just finally accept that petey is overrated? Ive been saying this since his rookie reason… yeah he was good but hes a terrible skater and weighs 100 pounds… its not hard to figure how to shut him down…

  13. Tradable players:
    EP40
    Demko
    Myers

    – EP40: probably the easier to trade with the largest return in assets. A Center, pick, prospect and be happy with it. Eg: Zack Benson, 1st, Konsta Helenius

    – Demko: maybe harder to trade but something in the range of 2nd or straight up prospect would be good. Never have enough Dman prospects

    – Myers: maybe again harder but something in the range of a 3C or a 3rd pick to trade up in the draft

  14. To get good pieces up front they need to give up pieces in the D, not rookies or prospects. Smart move would be to get a top center for Hronek (thats the "expensive" part) and the next should be Garlund for SJ's first pick, 2nd overall.
Our youth is the ELC's that we need to have star forwards, keep Boeser, Hughes, Pettersson, Demko.

  15. Move the team already, nobody wants to play in Vancouver. The Aqualini's are a dumpster fire. Brian Burke painted a picture about working for this team. I think the owners are beyond difficult to work for.

  16. Something doesn’t pass the smell test. If Petterson was hurt all season like Rutherford said. Why was Alvin calling him out for not preparing himself properly for games ?

  17. The Canucks need to keep Mancini, D-Petey and Tom Willander….You can make other trades but for the love god DO NOT TRADE AWAY OUR PROSPECTS AND ROOKIES…..
