The way Leafs fans switch up with recency bias is so insane. So quick to boo and lose hope when things look bleak then immediately hop right on the bandwagon full throttle when things start to look good again. Hockey is a lot of luck and the difference between 6-1 and 2-1 is a couple of goals and then playing desperate. It’s always “Leafs choke or Leafs didn’t have the heart/effort”… the Panthers are a generational team it’s unfortunate but this is the toughest series they’ve had to play in the last 2 years and they’re better this year than they were last year when they won the cup. Notice how they played better when not in front of their own fans.
