Leafs have always been a team that’s good but not good enough. When it comes down to the top 4 they just don’t fit when there are teams a lot better…good series but game 7 is what shows the difference in skill and cup contender hockey
I knew they werent going to make it,, theyre not clutch 7 gamers, they have to win in the first 4 games, look 2 if not 3 years ago against the Canadiens up 3-0 and the Canadiens came back to win the 4 to 7 in the quarterfinals, the l3afs fans should not give them money and let them earn every victory, but is usually rich white people that go see them anyways, and pay over $200 cad to see them play
I'm 58 in August, so the Leafs haven't won a Cup since I've been born! Fortunately, I moved to Tampa in 1999 yet even we've won THREE Cups since I've been here. In fact, the last 5 Stanley Cup finals were all played in Florida, three of which were won by Florida teams (Lightning 2 of 3, Panthers 1 of 2)! So basically, Florida is a better hockey region than Canada!! ?? How the F did this happen??
Leafs have no depth scoring. Look at how many different goal scorers there were for Florida in this series. Everyone on that team contributes in the offensive zone.
This Maple Leaf team does an excellent job of representing the city of Toronto's population. This coming from a guy who was born and raised in the big smoke and spent over 40 years living there. Covid exposed Toronto for what it is: Clueless elbows up boomers, heavily stressed and thus medicated middle aged Xers, indoctrinated & delusional millennials and over a million imported Tim Hortons workers. Just a cess pool of mediocrity with an attitude of entitlement and arrogance, a perfect match.
Willy is by far the best performer in these games.

Auston’s C has to go. He’s not a captain. He’s not. Don’t care if he was injured. Saying the team had “too many passengers” when you’re supposed to be leading that team (so even if true that’s partially your fault) AND you’re the biggest mf passenger yourself should be enough to get the C stripped right off your jersey. You don’t win with a captain like that. You don’t.
4:24 Woll played fine. After game 3 the Leafs scored: 0, 1, 2, and 1 goals. Leafs’ fans could blame Bennett for the loss via causing injury and be mad at the league if the team gave they any foot to stand on. They didn’t. They were outplayed in all 4 games they lost, and 2 of them they were absolutely bitch slapped. Both in their own barn. The Leafs’ lost cuz they were the worse team.
Is it just me or are the Oilers the only Canadian team these days that actually try to win the cup? Like, acktually work their asses off to get to the ultimate celly?
I for years have rooted for the Leafs to fail. Not this year. I feel horrible for their fans they don’t deserve this or these types of performances. Blow it all up. It’s not funny, even as an outsider, anymore.
Harold Ballard's "loser" psychological damage LIVES. Woll was not the starter, good but not good enough. No chance versus the defending Cup Champs. Not a bad season overall, Eck. And the "loser" who threw his Leaf jersey onto the ice in disgust Game 7, was properly dealt with, I should think.

The Leafs looked pathetic. I heard the names of Lorentz and Domi a lot more than Marner and Nylander.

Game 5 and game 7 were 2 of the most heartless and emotionless performances by a home team in a LONG time!
Mitchell Marner yells to spit at his teammates, telling them to wakeup, and then he does out on the next shift and turns the puck over. Come on, man.
