Bedard is a killer with a good team he would be insane and put better numbers than Mcdavid , and if Toronto could get a Defenseman like Matthew Schaefer, on top of our two goalies just need to stay healthy and alittle sharping up we would be sold even if we some how got Michael Misa

Bye Marner, bye JT, but when July 1st comes along… AM34 should be on the trade block. Everyone wants to pound on Marner and deservedly so, but AM34 should be taking more of the blame as the Captain, the face of the franchise, and as the 69 goal who seems to dry up in the playoffs. How is it in the playoffs you all expect Marner to score goals, or carry the team when he has never been that guy? Shouldnt that have been AM34 or JT? JT was signed as the person to lead and get these kids over the hump. He Failed. Marner… is the assist man… AM34 was the goal man… like Hull and Oats… Sakic and Forsberg… Selanne and Kariya… Ovi and Backstrom. Marner made JT look like a goal scorer one season. He was never the goto guy… it was always AM34 or JT… but he always was the scapegoat b4 AM34 or JT. Marner should have been traded before his no trade clause kicked in, just to shake the core up. Marner was never allowed to be more then sidekick to AM34. He was on pace to hit 40g when AM34 was gettin operations for his wrist. Then his goal production flopped when AM34 came back. Being with AM34, didnt allow his game as a scorer to develop. AM34 is not it. He will never lead or carry a team to a win or a cup like Crosby, Ovi, Mario, and Gretz to name a few. At 6'3 and 225lbs… you have one of the softest players in AM34.

Maybe so. But I can also tell you that the fans and media, coupled with the unfortunate recent history in Toronto have made it virtually impossible for guys to not feel immense pressure.
