I just don't get it how they can be so good in game 1 and 2, somehow win game 6 and be absolutely SHOCKING in games 5 and 7.

As an outsider the reaction to the Leafs always baffles me. Y'all went 7 with one of the best teams in the league rn and it was impressive! I've never seen another team get boo'd more at home than away it's tough to watch. I'm a Wild fan (the team with a worse playoff record than the Leafs) so I understand the pain but this reaction is so ridiculous

Im a panthers fan, been following steve for 4 years now. Steve is awsome an i love the channel. I think the Leafs have a scary good team but for some reason they just dont always click on ice. In my opinion if they had a different coach, one whom they connected with an felt passionate about ti play for. I think the leafs would go deep in a playoff run

Heart is way more important than talent. I’ve seen it over and over. If you can find talent with heart it will happen. Watch The Edmonton Oilers for the next couple weeks. It will be a real treat, Guaranteed!
All the other years the leafs loss was pretty funny to me since i'm a MTL fan but honestly this year i kinda feel bad lol. They really need to shake things up for next season

they need to drop marner and tavares get some better defense and a couple "playoff performers" I hate that that's really a thing, but guys with a bit more sandpaper in their game would go a long way. Not that he'd be the best thing ever but look at a Ryan Hartman for the wild in the playoffs – regular season you can expect him to be a 20g 40a guy playing 2nd/3rd line but in the playoffs with his head on his shoulders – he was unbelievably effective and productive. Leafs need a couple guys like him. stepping up in depth and keeping the ire of the other team.
