Bird can beat his opponents out of the game by getting the defenders in foul trouble, psychology warefare by demoralizing his opponent, way more clutch than KD, much better passer, better rebounder, reads the defense better, better defender, leadership, elite mental toughness, and the fear he instilled in defenders.

I dont think Larry gets enough credit for his defense. Maybe not quite as good 1 vs.1 defense on some guys, but on a team his defense was superb, he get behind players swat/steal the ball, force players to make bad passes,
