  1. Obviously, we learned quite a bit about this young Habs team during the 2024-2025 playoffs. I think they're going to be an absolute force for many years when the rebuild is "complete". And that time is not too far away! Thanks for watching, cheers!

  2. Obviously some size and toughness and more Banging the opposition is needed. A quick for check, makes for more goals.

  3. Watching the race down the stretch I was impressed with Horvat…think he fits your criteria and would fit in a slick as shit through a goose….

  4. " The Habs were lacking Grease, Size, Skill " but you forgot one – Calls from the Refs. I'm sure Gally and Cole would agree lol.

  5. I like benette but I believe there is to much of a maybe they can sign him he has to 1 wanna play 4 habs 2 get best offer etc wtv point is it's not certain and I think Hughes will want to be sure he gets something so he will trade at the draft one of his picks if not both

  6. I know I'm asking a lot, but my dream scenario is this.
Montreal trade one (maybe even two) of their 1st round pick to the Islanders for Mathew Barzal with a small portion of retained salary (So that Suzuki still is the highest paid forward. I don't count Laine ok. He's not staying)
Barzal as a 2nd C would round up the top 6 splendidly
And why do I think the Islanders would ever consider trading this guy?
Because with a new GM coming soon, the Isl might finally go hardcore into a rebuild. Sell the whole house to get a chance at drafting the one thing they desperately need. A generational forward! And next year with Gavin McKenna has the prize for being bad, there's never been a better time for them to tank!
Especially now that they also have the 1st OA for this year.
And what would a tanking team really want? More draft capital! And 2 first round pick in the middle of the draft is something that could really interest the islanders.

  7. You know who I want as a Hab? Phil Kessel! He's rotting away as a free agent and he was on the Leafs when they were rebuilding and he stood up for his teammates to the media and he's a force in the playoffs so he could bring a lot of knowledge and a super hard work ethic (Hockey's Ironman) that the young Habs could greatly benefit from.

Get that hot dog a Habs sweater! Probably could sign him for cheap too. Look at Corey Perry what he's doing for the Oilers. Kessel could do that for the Habs… That, or Oilers sign him so both of them could talk about "the good ol' days" hahaha

  8. Trade Matheson it makes sense he has had a shity season full of sloppy plays or maybe Evans to the Jets

  9. listened to a podcast today that finally came up with a reasonable choice ~ mctavish from anaheim ~ something more than dreaming & wishful thinking ~ thot that was good ~ always liked mctavish since he scored canada that winning goal in he world juniors a few years ago ~

  10. matthew knies…..period….offer sheet him above what leafs boys can afford….done deal….simple, the one leaf that can play a playoff game, top six talent, big frame, and not afraid to get greasy….thats my pic…..can deny the kid is talented, gonna get better and if he flies under the radar, 4×7-8.5 range i think they can land him….especially if they resign that little bitch marner

  11. on a side note……Missing out on Cousins when he was available was a big mistake, that's another player who i feel would fit this habs roster build perfectly….fuckin sens!

  12. Get Big mac back here from Nashville! He is a beast and nobody is touching Lane when he is on the ice.

  13. M. Olivier. The guy can do it all. Plus,, he has a fear factor when on the ice that throws players off their game, always looking over their shoulders.

  14. id be so happy if we picked up sam bennett. great canadian player who should come back home

  15. Adding a player like Sam Bennett would put the Habs in the upper echelons. Give up a first and Matheson or Davorak.

  16. Maybe hunter Jones in the lions is like the rocket but 1h and 45 min away is really good and if I was martin st I will pick him for replacing doobš

  17. I'm a Canucks fan with the Habs as my official #2.

If either team offer sheets Matthew Knies from Toronto i would be ecstatic

  18. (CBJ fan) what I learned is that the Habs got F'ed in the A bye the refs VS the caps. Los Angeles and Vegas preordered a truck load of sore ass cream, if you guys are running low. Yeah we all want Sam on our team.

  19. I agree. The Habs are on track for a Cup win in 2029. Bennet will probably command somewhere in the $6-7 million with about a 6 year term. That fits within the Habs payroll scheme and I am not too worried about the term because he's 28.
