Definitely the first period was unbelievable. Jack making the Foreman/Lyle comparison was bang on, both teams throwing haymakers.
Oilers fans don't want to hear about goaltending? MF. THATS ALL WE TALK ABOUT. We always say we need a better goalie.
Hill should have gotten 5 or 6 penalties in that first period.
The officiating in the first period was just atrociously bad.
No Vegas fan should be mad. Vegas was running our Goalie the first two games never seeing a single penalty for it and even injured him while doing so. You reap what you sow.
The Oilers were extremely embarrassed by that goal with 0.3 seconds left. So they arrived at this game ready to battle for the ENTIRE 60 minutes, and it showed.
We got a hockey game AND a boxing match tonight – all in one…Finally, VGK gets a dose of their own medicine. Trying for the cheesy interference and roughing calls by pushing opponents into Hill. I for one am happy the refs didn't bite on that. Rough for Hill, but his own guys were the perpetrators…We're so used to seeing EDM as a finesse team. But like CAR in WSH, they're bellying up to the bar when they get served up…The Oil Can was hopping last night…
How on earth could Kane avoid that goalie contact when crossed checked right into him?
Sad I didn’t get to watch the game cuz I was working. my buddy played the audio through the kitchen speaker while I worked the bar tho 😂

I dunno if kane wasnt trying to avoid Hill. In the replay he's started moving to his left (towards the front of the crease) and is cross-checked into Hill.
I predicted to everyone at work who would listen that Stu would pitch a shutout around noon😊

Nobody hates their own goaltender like canadian hockey teams. The amount of hate Oilers fans feel towards their own player is pathetic. Nobody should play for canadian franchises. Just go play in America.

I got a Evander Kane hockey card for my late GF’s grave for Mother’s Day (her favourite player) then Kane goes and have a 2 point night last night. It was beautiful
This game started out so fast with so much energy. Hill was having a moment all night long. As it progressed Vegas just looked doomed. Oilers have so much more elite talent and Vegas just has no answers for it. I was thinking, wow Eichel is out there all alone. Its just a bunch of guys at this point. This version of the Oilers is cup worthy. Also enjoyed the Skinner shut out just to hear how much he sucks from all the Oilers fans…….crickets today I guess.

OMG the Knights were out shot like 5:1 by the Oilers. What the heck is going on? LV were not driving the net. There were times Karlsson could have drove to the net, but decided to take shots from top of the circles. Eichel only consistent puck handling threat right now. Hertl despite being a big man was known for using his body to drive the puck. They need to get more attackers attacking the net. I get they wanted to use their defense first mentality like the last game, but if you getting out shot like that, you need change up.
The West is so stacked. Whoever makes it out of the East is going to get lambasted in 4 straight. Not even Cats can survive the onslaught.
I think the DJ plays "Deutschland" whenever Draisaitl is having a night. I could be wrong though.
As an Oiler fan that was an awesome game, old time hockey at its best loved every minute of it. Hill was loving every minute of it, didn't unravel or folded but competed every minute. Stu shined and showed what he can do. Great goal by henrique. Kaner being playoff kaner.😊 One of the best playoff games ive seen the oilers play, funny thing was mcdavid and drai were quiet. Go Oilers!

I think you need to rewatch the replay Kane is in the process of raising his arms and in no way xchecks Hill. Kane was shoved into Hill therefore there should NOT have been a penalty to Kane, much like Hertl "falling" onto Pickard and injuring him

The penalties on Oilers in the 1st were suspect. Refs seemed to try and get Vegas involved.
