Jets should have won with the wide open shot on an empty net towards the end. That's how playoff hockey goes. It's a game of small margins. Stars are an excellent team and in my humble opinion, must better coached than Vegas. They'll be a very stiff test vs. my Oilers. Congrats and see ya in rd. 3
BTW, The media is so disappointed 😢 and unhappy that Scheifele didn’t score the winning goal, and hijacking the series back to the Rigged Snake Pit in Winnipeg with all the media attention on Scheifele becoming the hero in game 7. IMO 🤨, that’s the only reason Scheifele played tonight because they FORCED him to play hoping for this HUGE I did it for DAD HEADLINES STORY. As a life long Jets fan (and proud Manitoban), my hats are off to the Dallas Stars fans. I have a ton of respect for the way they responded to some tragic news on the Jets, and donating to the Winnipeg Jets youth charity. Very classy move, and you’re truly among the best. You’ve got a great team, enjoy the next series or two.
