What’s next for the Buffalo Sabres?

The Buffalo Sabres have once again traded away a potential star in Dylan Cozens.

Cozens gets added to a long list that includes players such as Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart and Linus Ullmark.

  1. You don’t know what you’re talking about. you don’t follow the Sabres and Cozens not a good player. It’s possible that he might turn into a good player for the Senators, but he was Wasn’t doing anything good for Buffalo. That’s why he got traded. besides Norris really isn’t a bad player either. I just don’t understand where you’re coming from.

  2. Superstars? Cozens? Mittlestadt? (Who's already elsewhere since his trade) Dahlin, Thompson, Tuch, Power are still there. Eichel wasn't staying, O'Reilly wasn't staying nor were they helping the victories pile up.

  3. They should have never gotten rid of ickel. Or however u spell it. Plus I'm a blackhawks fan so I really don't care

  4. it’s because we get these new gms every five years so when the new one comes in he wants to clean house. well eventually might reach the bills playoff drought record if lindy doesnt save the team next year. i believe he can but these arent his players so im willing to give lindy two more years to build his team

  5. The Sabres are getting better and no one sees it just because we’re missing the playoffs. I think the biggest problem is the lack of a stable coaching staff. Getting rid of Don Granato was a mistake. Fact is, the Sabres have strung together two seasons above .500 for the first time since 2010-12. They have a chance (granted, slim) to make it three straight. 3-0-1 or better in our last four games would get us there. We’ve played well most of the year. 35-37-6 with a 13 game losing streak is not to shabby. Thompson will only continue to get better, Tuch is actually an elite player that wants to be here. JJ’s looked good the last two years, James Reiner has proven that he can give our backup goaltending some depth. It sounds cliche, but I think we’ll make it next year. I like where we’re at other than coaching.

  6. With Kevyn Adams as GM and an owner who seemingly has no issue with losing every year we are gonna see guys like Dahlin and Thompson request trades in less than two years. I am trying to give up the Sabres habit because frankly smoking cigarettes while drinking whiskey out of the bottle to get the courage to hire that lady on the street corner for the night is less of a bad habit.
