Anybody’s series, winner of this looks to be the favorite to move on to the finals
Why is Skinner in net?
Skinner is not as bad as his stats show him to be. With that being said, Edmonton will not win anything with him in net, not because he's terrible, but because the team has lost confidence in him. Skinner is as good as gone from the roster next season. Look at what career third-stringer Pickard is doing. The team plays night-and-day different with him in net because he doesn't mentally drain you and make you play scared. Imagine where this team could be had the GM picked up a real goalie for this season.
Oilers looking pretty soft on those two goals. Bad turnover on the first one leading to a 2 on 1 that turned into a 10-12 second chase the puck around our net and not cover anyone on the doorstep. Then then the 2nd one committing the sin of trying to stick check while flat footed. Gonna get lucky not to get run out of their own building if they don't put more effort in than that defensively.

Goal never should have happened. Roy should be suspended for 2-3 games after his vicious head cross check in the last game. But as usual, the Refs and the League sucking Vegas's toes.
Same with your sports casters as well Sportsnet. Congratulating the refs for calling a penalty on the clean hit against Vegas in the first period. Why all of a sudden you guys agreeing and capitulating to the refs? Last year you guys were far more truthful. Now you seem afraid to question the refs. Also Roy should have been suspended not on the ice scoring a goal to tie it.
