Exit Interview Brandon Biro
U your assessment of the Abbottzford series. Good series, hard fought throughout. Um some difficulty obviously at the end for the birds to score goals. You weren’t in that last game, but how did you see that series play out? I thought we were right there with them. I thought, you know, we out played them for for good stretches of that and, you know, like you said, we just couldn’t score. Uh we had chances, we had a lot of looks and for whatever reason, things just, you know, weren’t going in and, you know, that happens sometimes and definitely sucks. Yeah. um your experience as a first year Firebird. Are there things about uh either this town, this building, this team that surprised you? This meet your expectations, exceed them? Uh I think they definitely exceeded them. Uh loved, you know, obviously living in the in the nice weather for for the winter, but it was just the the group of guys here that we had was that what made it so great. And you know, pretty much every year that’s what it is. If if you got a good group in the locker room, then you know, it makes your time here here great. And and I had a lot of fun this year. and and you know, I’m definitely going to going to miss it and going to going to cherish these moments that I had here. So, it was awesome. Cool. I wanted to ask about coach Law. It was like playing for him. Um you know, what’s his uh coaching style? Uh you know, he communicates a lot with you. I really enjoyed playing for him. Uh he’s an easy guy to be around, personable um off of the ice. So, I think when you kind of have all those things, it’s, you know, it makes for a good experience. And um he’s a great X’s and nose guy as well. So, it’s he’s kind of got kind of got it all going for him and uh he did a great job the first year, especially with how many younger guys we had. It was obviously a bit of a transition year and um you know, overall it was it was a great experience for me. Thank you.
