Kane charging on Hill (plus Oilers good goal and Nurse roughing) – Tough Call Review
Evander Kane picked up a charging penalty on Aiden Hill for being shoved in the back by Brayden McNabb. The goal was correctly counted but the Oilers ended up shorthanded when they shouldn’t have been.

McNabb didnt have to fool everyone, just the ref, and it worked. I know the game is fast and the refs cant cant all of it, buuuut there is some gawd awful calls and worse, non calls. No accountability, no transparency. Refs should be held to account as players are.
The refs tried all they could in first period to give Vegas the game on a platter with PP after PP with false penalties. Glad to see the Oilers are a lot more proeficient than last year and have 3 lines that can score goals. Cups will go to Edmonton finally!
Does McNabb make contact yes, but Evandar Kane is already committed going into that crease. From the amount of contact being made I can't see McNabb being that strong sending him flying into the goalie even when the force is going across . It shouldn't give Kane then credence to have free reign. That being said I don't know how ya call it but penalties on both woulda sufficed. Lumber to the back is cross checking plain and simple and you hardly see those called. I think what every one can agree on is that officiating in the nhl is all over the place and seriously inconsistent
You are wrong he did fool them , he got away with it lol! It should NOT work but that just shows how bad refs want Canadian teams out of the Playoffs. Especially the 1s with high revenue , lets not forget that the NHL is an American Business and we are paying Trumps Tariffs!
Was not a charge at all. The vegas player pushed Kane into Hill while Kane was putting on the breaks. Absolutely ridiculous call, but of course Bettman's precious Golden Knights can do no wrong as shown by the way Roy barely got a slap on the wrist for crosschecking Frederick in the face- something that could have legitimately killed him if the stick landed wrong.

No penalty should have been called on Kane. I was taught as a kid to not push forwards into your own goalie…

bs "game management" call. And the reason McNabb did it is that he correctly guessed he'd be rewarded for doing it. His ploy worked.
