WHO SHOULD THE CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS select 3rd overall at the 2025 NHL Draft?
If can't trade up to #1 , take Martone then trade Korch and late first for another top 10 pick and try to get McQueen or O'Brien between picks 8-10
“He (Martone) doesn’t have the pace or skating of others in his range…”
As he’s showed blowing past two defenders who are diving and throwing sticks, trying to catch up and stop him. 😀
It's going to take a miracle for Misa to drop to 3. I can see Martone turning out to be another Kirby Dach draft bust,—too slow. With his size and heavy shot, Frondell could turn into the Hawks' next-generation Hossa. A bull who's hard to knock off the puck and wins the battles in the tough areas.
if davidson was willing to move another 1st++ for demidov, id move #3, florida’s 2026 1, chicago’s 2027 1 and some prospects to move into the top 2 for misa
Hagens has the highest ceiling out of the likely candidates left at 3rd, with strong compete and speedy legs, would be very happy with James for the hawks.
I keep hearing Anton frondell connected to the hawks as well
Blackhawks select Hagans
Hagens if he's available. He'd be a great compliment to Bedard.
If not Misa then Martone
Misa or Martone…or trade for a quality forward.
Martone is 208lbs, not almost 200
Do the Sharks!! 🦈 Also I think Misa is the best option for Chicago. Bedard needs a 2C to take the pressure off of him and for the help on the power play. Realistically it’s going to be Martone/Hagens seeing as Misa is probably going to the Sharks.
Can the Hawks put a package together to get Mesa ??

I like ALL of them! But if I had to choose one, I'd pick Porter Martone. The Blackhawks need size in their ilneup and Martone would definitely add that component. Also, Jake O'Brien is an underrated potential choice. He centered a line in Brampton that also featured Nick Lardis, a high draft pick by the Blackhawks a few seasons ago. All Lardis did was scored 71 goals this past season with O'Brien assisting on most of them. And no doubt Misa and Hegens could both add to the Blackhawks lineup as well. Either, I don't think the Blackhawks can go wrong with this draft. It's gonna be fun to be a Blackhawks fan again and soon!
With all the draft capital an top end draft picks the hawkes have had since 2021 and still goes through 2026 if they blow this rebuiod by not being able to hit on a few of these first rounders it will be a huge huge huge shit show
too many people calling Martone a power forward dudes a playmaker thru & thru
In order as a hawks fan, Misa(OBVIOUSLY we think he’s gone by 3 BUTTTT), Frondell, Hagens, Mortone, Caleb(not even attempting to spell that last name😭😭
No Frondell love!? Big hawks fan here, I've got Misa > Frondell > Desnoyers / Martone / Hagens right now. How would you order these 5 if you were Hawks GM picking 3rd?
Martone and Celebrini are also playing together in the Worlds, so that may be a tie to the sharks chosing him at second? I doubt it but i will be so happy if Misa falls to the Hawks
The Hawks have gotten to see a lot of O'Brien since they had Lardis and Vanacker playing at Brantford. My question with Martone – will his NIL deal with Penn State affect where he gets drafted? You have to wait for him now.
