I became a fan of the Leafs after watching the 67 OLD Guys that were written off because of their age and Montreal's talent, win the cup in 67. I was 9 years old and have been loyal since. The "noise" the coach and players are talking about isn't the Fan reaction it's the Critical Negative Toronto Media!! always has been!! SN TSN SDPN all try to be experts yet few of them played in the NHL and frankly don't have the right to criticize because they're not on the Ice. Fans accept the losses because they're FANS! The media gets payed now for Clicks and sensationalism. Sammy be a FAN and believe. I've put up with not only dealing with the losses but all the BS the Networks generate for their paychecks. When the last coach left and went to new Jersey he was greeted by welcome to the real NHL. because The Toronto Media IS A GONG SHOW and the broadcasters revel in all the turmoil they can cause across the fan base. Try Supporting the team when things go wrong (be a fan) stop pointing out all the defects every loss (be a fan) or simply STFU!! I'm a lifer and I'm not happy they lost but I hope they win games 6 and 7 this team is CLEARLY better than most teams Toronto has had in the last 40 years so GIVE THEM CREDIT and STOP YOUR Whining!! The regular season doesn’t matter, look at oilers. Injures to so many players regular season but coach knows everyone other else has opportunities to step up . They are not a whole team but a top heavy group of egos

And then one time he started losing it but apologized cos Sammy himself called out the wrong clip number. I truly believe that Matthews, Marner and Nylander don't have chemistry or they don't create opportunities is because of their character flaws, the 3 of them have egos, therefore they can't get along as teammates. This team won't win anything with Matthews as captain. Maybe he talks a good talk in the dressing room, but he doesn't walk the walk on the ice.
The level of Accountability that Kyper holds Matthews to compared to Marner tells you everything you need to know about who is the significantly better and more important player and how much less Money Marner deserves Really exposing his own bias and conflict of interest with that.
