  1. I’m learning so much from this channel as someone who is watching hockey for the first time since the start of this season and has become a huge Canes fan! I appreciate the analysis and teaching you’re doing man; it’s awesome and very accessible

    Edit: Also happy birthday 🎉

  2. Yeah, the national media sucks. Watching the game last night one of the guys calling it on TNT said something about "the one good thing Carolina has done this series". Like thats the only good thing we've done. While were gwtting ready to eliminate the 1 seed!?

  3. Outside of our local guy, Adam Gold, you are my favorite analyst. I found your channel midway thru Canes v Caps series and appreciate you so much! GO CANES 🌀

  4. 5:45 <- This! Tired of seeing all the complaining. I hope the Canes win the east. If Andersen stays healthy, I think they can do it. Hopefully FL doesn't try to take him out.

  5. Canes depth impressed me this series and Stankoven winning puck battles against guys MUCH bigger never gets old.
    Happy Birthday Coach !

  6. Im a canes fan and i cant stand the mikko hate over the situation. His world was turned upside-down and we(inc myself) were like oh what a pos. He did us a favor by signing so we could get a return. He didnt have to do that

  7. Carolina really plays like there are 5 defensemen on the ice. They've also gotta be the most conditioned team on the ice too. It's insane. I'm still hoping Toronto figures shit out so we can see Freddie goalie his old team. But otherwise Florida v Canes is just gonna be a low scoring defensive slog fest since they both play similar style. Which makes sense since Paul Maurice coached Rod.

I don't think any Canes fan would be upset at you for not considering Jarvis, Aho, or Svech as superstars. They really aren't. They are excellent hockey players, but they aren't a McDavid, Draisatl, MacKinnon, Barkov, etc. Carolina is for sure a score by committee team. Our depth is insane when you check the numbers and compare to other teams.

  8. I'm being very careful not to count any eggs before they hatch, but if the Panthers take care of business, I am so psyched to experience a rematch of the '23 ECF. While, yes, that might have been a sweep, each individual game was extremely competitive, and I would expect similar this time.

I do give the edge to Carolina in 7, even as a Cats fan, but this should be an exciting matchup between two teams doing so much of their work off the puck.
