Insider Drops BOMBSHELL Report… MAJOR Bruins Update | Boston Bruins News

and Insiders just dropped an absolute bombshell regarding the Boston Bruins draft plans and what the thought process going behind this is going to be. We’re going to be breaking it all down, going over a few names here, as well as going over the whole plan that has been revealed by this insider here in this video. Very quickly before we jump into it, you know, we’re on the road to 7K. And if everybody who has not hit the sub button right now watching this video hits it, we will get there in this video. video. I know it’s a stretch, but you know, kind of crazy. But regardless, 75% of you guys watching right now, not subscribed to the channel, be sure to do so if you haven’t already, and you’re looking for a spot for all of your Boston Bruins news here throughout this off seasonason. Without any further ado, let’s jump into this. This comes from Daily Face Off. And a very interesting question when asked Frank Seri about the plan for the Boston Bruins draft. This was a question asked, “Frank, we have an asked DFO. We’ve got a Bruins fan in the chat here. Wanted to ask a little bit about the Bruins plans to find a center. They said the Bruins have all these picks in the NHL draft in the next few years. Do you think they’ll use them to try and select a centerman or use them to try and trade for a center? Now, Frank Valley had some very interesting comments when it came out about this and something that I think we can all kind of relate to while watching the Boston Bruins here so far throughout this off seasonason. It is only early, but we still have this idea that it does seem like this is the plan for the Boston Bruins. This is what Frankster Valley had to say. My guess would be they would try to select a centerman because they’ve had some point had some pretty decent luck doing that in the later rounds. I think the tough part about trying to figure out the Boston Bruins center position is that the team itself and the front office doesn’t seem to indicate that it’s as big of a need as it is on paper. Now, this is something that I’ve discussed here a little bit on the channel. I’ve kind of had this exact same idea when it comes down to trying to break down the Boston Bruins first round pick, ninth overall, where we’re kind of looking at a few different possibilities or a seventh overall, excuse me, uh when we’re kind of looking at a few different possibilities of centerman. But when it comes down to it, we kind of miss out on all of those top tier centers. And when you see Frank Cali come out and say that kind of going over the later rounds, that’s where it raises a few questions because we know the Bruins are going to be needing to get a number one center regardless. They tried to get that in last year. didn’t work out. Certainly can be a number one still. You know, I’m not going to say it’s not possible, but at this point from what we saw last year and near the end of the season, we really saw him be able to be that number one center, but I think in the long term, it’s going to be a number two. And, you know, it’s kind of expensive for a number two center, but it is what it is at this point because we can’t really change this contract without getting rid of him. So, when we’re looking at that number one center possibility, we kind of go over a few different things here. When we look at Michael Misa, he’s at number two. But of course, these numbers here on the left are where they’re projected to go in the first round. And we’re going to have another one later where those numbers are going to be their picks, and it’s a bit later, but Michael Misa is the number two in this draft, at least right now. We’ve seen some movement up and down with the New York Islanders, but number two, I think, is a fair spot for Misa. Then you have the tier two players. Michael Misa is the only tier one. Tier two, James Haggin, Anton Fondell, Caleb Denoier. Caleb Deno and Anton Fondell were two that the Bruins were really considering at number five. But when it comes down to it now, the odds of getting those two players are going to be very tough if they don’t move up. And you know, there could be some movement. There could be some unexpected decisions made by the teams ahead of us. But centers are a big hot commodity in this draft. And having those top ones here at the top just above the Bruins picks, quite unfortunate. Now, when we’re looking at the ones that we’ve been able to see, I’ve had videos individually on these players, so go check them out, but Jacob Bryan, Roger McQueen, those are the two and in the category of the rest, not even in tier two. This is where the Bruins pick really starts to come into play because you know Caleb Denoy maybe if he drops by one pick it’s an option here having four four centers go in the top six picks very very tough but it’s possible and especially with the teams that we have here in this draft it’s going to be an option but Jacob Bryan certainly someone that has this potential to be a number one NHL center and I think that having an OHL 66 games and 98 points very very good start to his career with Brford and his game translates well to a Boston Bru type of center 6’2 170 not the biggest guy but at 6’2 good decent size for a centerman there who can really do every asset in the center position now when it comes down to Roger McQueen as well we’re going to look at him a little bit even bigger 65 192 17 games in the WHL 20 points we really didn’t get to see a full season out of him however but certainly has shades and has shown that he’s able to be here and you never know could be even be a higher pick if he stayed uh you know the remainder of the season was able to play the remainder of his um you know final year what will be in the WHL likely. So you know there’s two options there but as Frank Sally said and when he comes down to another quote here that we’re going to go over before we jump into these other possibilities he says I think that the part is tough to balance if they don’t see it as a huge need how aggressive would they be going out uh to fill it unless they’re just playing koi. So you know we’ve kind of discussed the possibility. What if the Bruins don’t go and get a center? What if they go out here and just get someone else get a winger? Get a defenseman. I don’t think that’s the biggest uh or smartest thing to do. We know that center is a big need. And but when the Bruins have this center position, when they have their lineup right now, they need a number one center. Number one, number two, move them Elias Lind. You don’t need someone who right away will come down and play the fourth line. The Bruins have a lot of centers, not a lot of top quality ones, which I think is the issue here with the Bruins. But when we go here, and I’ll pull this up on the next one as well. looking at 2934 near the end of the first round, early second round, Jack Mer and William Moore. Two Boston players, uh, not Bruins, but Boston University and Boston College. Those are two players I also think we should keep an eye on. When it comes down to the Bruins, we know they love the big players that locally they can see, they’ve scouted, just watch, you know, when you’re when you’re bored or whatever. But those two players, 61, 6’2, 198, 174, pretty similar in the build size. Jack Mart is a bit bigger but very good players so far in their careers. 56 games played and 53 points for Jack Mart in the uh the Boston University. William Moore 64 games, 59 points in Boston College. Two very similar stat lines and builds. But you know it’s going to be the kind of the same thing coming down. Will the Bruins choose to go center even if it’s not someone that will come in immediately fit into what they need? And that’s my biggest worry for the Bruins with this pick and it’s really uncertainty surrounding the idea and if they will choose to do that. But let’s take a look here at the Bruins lines right now. This is what I was talking about when it comes down to the center depth. They have a lot of it no doubt. Elias Anton, Pavo Zaka, Casey Middlestad, John Beecher, Jacob Lao, Maratinov, Frasier Mitten, Matt Plat, Mark Castle all can play center. Now are any of those number one centers, number two centers? Well, Lindholm really is I would think in my mind. Paw Zak has played that here last season. played on the wing for a little bit, played in the middle for a bit. But then you have some younger guys, Frzier Minton, Casey Middles, Matt Patcher, those guys are projected to move in there, you know, eventually, just not able to yet. And Marlo, who wasn’t enough, can play, you know, the center. Mark Cassich was a great center. They signed him to be that depth guy. But once again, none of these guys can play on the first second line confidently, play 20 minutes a game, and I that we would be comfortable with. So going through this idea as Frank Valley said trying to find this number one center and I’ll pull up the quote once again going into it trying to find that center but then you’re looking in the later rounds as well you have to go with that first pick and be confident with what you want to do with it. And I think that’s going to be the biggest question for the Bruins when it does come down to making this pick, choosing who they want in this pick and going with it and really solving who they need to get and who they want to get here. But there’s still lots of time before that and I think we’re going to get some more stuff coming out. you know, Frank Valley started this here at least, we’ve kind of speculated on our own. We’ve had a few reports, but now coming into it, seeing that these are possibilities, something that I’m getting excited with because I want to see that depth and see what’s coming here. But when we look at the free agents, I think we should touch on this before we finish this video off here. The centers have quite a few and quite a few very talented ones. There’s a few names here that have been linked to the Bruins that are, you know, kind of probably not going to happen. John Tivera is certainly not. Brock Nelson, I think he’s too old personally. Muel Granland, someone who’s really taken that step up in his game lately as well. Laura Zeller, Pew Sudter, you know, Christian D’vorak, some names there that are getting older, but good depth pieces. But when it comes down to number one centers, you know, there’s really none here. Honestly, when we’re looking at this, you have Sam Bennett. I don’t think he’s number one center. He’s a great center. Love to have him on the Bruins to kind of replace Brad Marshon, but there’s nobody here that can really confidently do that. So, when it comes down to it, you really have the draft or you have a trade. That’s really all the Bruins have, you know, to get the number one center. So, let me know what you think. What do you want to see from the Bruins? What plan do you think they should go with? I think there’s a bunch of options. We have to kind of break these down as it goes towards the draft, as we get towards free agency. And we know the Bruins are supposed to be making a heavy moves. So, let me know your projections down below. Who do you want to see? What do you want to see? And uh, you know, we’re kind of go over this in a few videos time. So, let me know what you think. But all I got in this video, if you did enjoy it, give it a like, hit the sub button as well. I’m signing out. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day. See you later.
