It’s crazy how sincere Foote comes across as, he is genuinely a good guy and one who is all in for the canucks
Foote wants this opportunity and we need a coach that wants to be here. Let's face it, we are not a destination for top tier coaches. But we have a guy who knows our team, top to bottom. He has everything to gain.
We aren't starting from scratch. That's big. Foote helped us get from bottom of the pile PK to respectability. That's no small potatoes.
This might be the best coach for Hughes and the worst coach for Petey. Foote as you can tell, is extremely defensive minded. Please give Petey a bit of a longer leash as well so he can thrive again offensively.
Defense is gonna be so good. Hughes-Hronek, M.Petey-E.Petey, ???-Wilander. Now if we can fix the forward group then we'll be wagon
Petey thought he would get someone warm and cuddly to be his coach…guess not. This child needs to grow up really fast or he's going to have to learn buffalo.
That was kinda good. Footer was a kinda good choice. Kinda looking forward to next season, kinda.

I hope that any time someone takes on a head coaching position with the canucks, that they realize they have the possibility of coaching the franchise to their first Stanley cup. That should motivate them to wanna be here
Ironic of him to say at 5:00 about how great it is to work around people that’s not toxic. Feels like all season there was toxic energy everywhere surrounding the team especially in the locker room
Congrats Adam you will do just fine.You have great experience in the regular season and the playoffs and you were an excellent player.Champions bring more Champions into their own lives with a great teacher and teammate the Coach .You have plenty of help around you and remember have fun it’s the best feeling everyone needs to have.I still want to teach you Lacrosse .👍
Calling out the leadership group in the dressing room was telling. Obviously Hughes isn't the problem there. Myers Petey and Brock ain't cutting it for leadership, sign some Vets in the off season.
Also, why trade the guy that was signed to a "Winners" contract in JT ?

As a reporter, how do you not address the feud between Miller and Pettersson last season leading to a complete breakdown of the team?
I was hyper critical of this show when it was announced. Felt like "state media" but this guy is a really thoughtful interviewer and even though coaches and management aren't getting grilled, we get an interesting interviews with prominent members of our illustrious and overdue club. Not just interviews, but genuinely well thought out questions.
Great first day and the new coach is already lying. It's a loud arena? Please on most nights you could crack a safe there
