My only hope is remembering game 1 of the tampa series in 2023. We got pumped 7-3 then came back the next game and dropped 7 on Vasy. Here's to hope and cope 🍻
The funny part is, Florida just played their regular game. Nothing really out of the ordinary. They worked hard on every shift, they battled for every puck. Their defence was solid, but unspectacular. Bobroskie was good, you didn’t really think he was going to keep letting in 4-5 a game. Their skill players worked hard, and their grinders played with skill. Just a regular run of the mill Panthers game.
Toronto played like shit in every facet of the game. But their lack of effort and drive and determination and tenacity and giving a shit, and grit and just freaking trying, speakers volumes about their character. I truly thought the coach had turned it around. Guess it’s difficult when you’re dealing with Gods.

I realized I was a fan of the leafs when I was just mad and shocked at the level of play the leafs brought. Game 7? how about game 6? They are done. They gave up with a few players trying. They better win in a dominant fashion in game 6 but either way Leafs were great until game 4. They need to re-find what Panthers stole in this series. They need to believe in themselves. stfu and play in a winning fashion. Don’t complain about anything, fix it and get the job done. Game 6 is going to be hard to watch😭

Every year when I watch Matthews and Marner in the playoffs it always seems like they want to be somewhere else….and that playing hockey in Toronto is a bothersome irritant that they have to go through until they can relax and think about how they can spend their millions….and the charade begins again nest season…

i was silent about MM all year because people try to forget the playoffs every year and tell themselves how great he is because of his points during regular season. I would have traded him 2 years ago.
But from now on until eternity i will show them his spinning backhandpass to the Panthers and then zero effort in defending his man before his man scores.

leafs year after year continually overpay players that have NO heart in the playoffs, regular season, all show, playoffs NO GO, only concerned about their tee off times on the greens, I just don't understand this year after year
