Dallas and Avs were extremely well matched teams in the playoff series. Could have easily gone the Avs way.
Not to mention there is a good chance Dallas is going to win it all this year, which puts the Avs as a top tier competitor just the way they sit.
I think the Avs just didn't have enough time to gel, at the end of the season and there was to much shuffling of lines to try and find that chemistry … including bringing Landeskog in at the last minute shaking up the lines once again.
Give this same team a year to marinate these lines and build some cohesiveness and they are a deadly contender for the cup next year.
Avs literally dominated the stars all series.
What killed them was the PP.
The avs could have easily swept the stars if they scored the PP goals at the end of the games.
