Stars fan here… just wanted to say I thought this was a great commentary on the game and that the Jets fan base is one of the coolest and most humble in the league. I actually have little confidence of the Stars winning game 5 but hope we can pull it off at home in game 6 otherwise this could be a tale for the ages in Winnipeg. GL and GO STARS 🙂

Game changers. The Peg simply do not have any true game changers.
Fantastic team but will inevitably fail in the cup quest because of that one glaring fact, they have no true GAME CHANGERS.
Don't know what I mean, go back and watch Mikko Rants. In trading him the Avs did something to this guy to turn him into a monster, he is by every metric a true game changer.
With him the Stars dominate. Without him they are highly competitive, like the Jets, BUT in the post season struggle to win consistently & for sure do not dominate.
Regular season is one animal, the pkayoffs are a completely different animal. No serious person disagrees with this statement.
Every player entering the post season know they must be prepared for war, it is a universally accepted assumption that this is about to begin…..war.
Elite players entering the playoffs are EXPECTED to raise the level of their compete. It is incumbent upon them to elevate their game. The team the, organization, the fans, the city all expect this, it's why they get the big bucks.
Connor Hellebuyck is considered an elite goal tender, nothing new to report everyone knows & agrees.
However if history is supposed to give us an analytical picture of the present then Hellebuyck is not I repeat is not an elite goal tender for one simple and undeniable reason, he simply fails to raise his competent in the time when doing so means the most….the playoffs. Therefore by definition he is not a game changer.
This off season the Pegs front office MUST go get a GAME CHANGER and they also need to give serious thought to dumping Helli. Like Marner and Petterson he is a playoff choke artist. Tried tested and proven to be true, sad but true.
Hellebuyck is not a GAME CHANGER.

Hellebuyck definitely cannot stand the playoff pressure. His play happens to be disheartening to the players in front of him at this point. Scoring definitely is a problem, but the biggest problem is in net and why they didn’t try with Comrie starting last game is a mistake. The real bad news is we have to live with this goaltender for another seven years.
Jets fans are hard to troll. They're too reasonable and respectful. If not for being a Stars fan, I'd be routing for Winnipeg in the west.

For the life of me, I don’t know why Scott Arniel did not start Comrie for game 4. Hellebuyck given up 22 goals and four road games. You can always put Hellebuyck back back in the net for game five.

Well, the Jets knew that they had to win at least one game in Dallas. They knew that they had to at least get the first goal. They knew that they had to stop taking penalties ( 2 Dallas goals on power plays). Terrible start. Now, even if they win in game 5, they have shown that they cannot cut it on the road in these playoffs. Now they have to win 3 games – a tough ask for a team that does not have any consistency. And yes, why not start Comrie next game? Anyways, Go Jets!

I think the biggest problem the Jets have is that Dallas is scoring more than them every game.
I've been to Winnipeg a few times, met nothing but great people there. I truly feel for the Jets fans, I know they've been so close so many times but fall short. As a Stars fan, obviously I can't root for you but I would if you were playing anyone else. This series isn't over yet, but I just wanted to say I appreciate the classy Winnipeg fans, certainly more than the pompous a-holes in Edmonton.
The jets are the Minnesota twins of the NHL……..make the playoffs and bye bye…….
Stars fan here, I believe this series was won or lost in last nights game. Stars don't go into a best 2 of 3 in Winnipeg and win it. Obviously anything can happen, I think Jets take game 5 but this is over in game 6.
