Final candidates, or only options? I bet they interviewed nobody.
Foote seems like a good guy, but he had a chance to put a stamp on this team the last couple of years – and this team was horrible without the puck in all aspects defensively – so I think they need to go in a different direction! I would hope for a past Stanley Cup winner in Claude Julien!

Marco Strum, Adam Foot ,Mitch Love, Manny from Abby. Plus two more. Marco Strum is very costructive coach. Detail guy. Mich Love the same. Coaches are not the problem. Top six players are the problem.
Manny as head coach, Footie as Defensive coach, maybe head coach with Abby.
You put Manny in your just going to feed him to the sharks….He is doing a stellar job with the farm team and developing the right players. I would be looking for an NHL coach with lots of experience and hope that Adam Foote stays behind the coaching bench next season.
I like Foote and Malholtra. But , they need a coach from outside the organization. A new approach. I like the idea of Mitch Love or Marco Sturm. Fresh ideas and a fresh start. Someone who can objectively look at the team and FIX IT!
