Crosby is not moving anywhere, he and Pens has mentioned that several times.
A big part of what makes Crosby special is his character. So it's far from surprising that he would publicly state that his intentions are to retire a penguin. I doubt that he would demand a trade. The idea of him even requesting a trade sounds tough to believe. But if the management received an offer (offers) that warranted a conversation with Sid, and it was considered to be mutually beneficial, I think he would be on board. He easily has another 4 years of play in him, I'm sure that part of him would like to make the most of it. But his character just prevents him from publicly saying it

Florida just got Brad Marchand for a 4th round pick. Crosby, at 38 isn't worth much more that that, maybe late first or early second rounder.

Crosby isn't chasing a Stanley cup… He won't move unless Pittsburgh really has to, or if something very "special" attracts him. If a Stanley cup won't, I wonder what would…
Only Montreal "prestige" might attract him, even then…

Its wayyyy too expensive for a late thirties player, crosby or not. If crosby really had an interest in coming to Montreal he shouldnt have signed a 2 year deal with Pittsburgh and should have came as a free agent

Montreal makes sense you have alot of prospects Reinbacher,Hage,Mesar,Beck,Engstrom,Maillioux,Kapanen,Roy,Kidney who could be in a package. Montreal either way needs a 2C Newhook and Dach arnt a fit behind Suzuki.

Sid isn't going anywhere. He's close to owning the all-time Penguins point record. He has some work to do the all-time goals record, but it is possible at the pace he is playing at currently. So, no dice.
Also, it would be nice for him to get another cup, but he's been on every mountain top in hockey. What else does he have to prove?
