John Klingberg has stepped up in a big way for the Oilers in their first-round series against the Kings. After missing Game 1 due to injury, he returned to the lineup and immediately made an impact. Offensively, he chipped in with two assists and kept the pressure on with nine shots on goal, including a key setup on Evander Kane’s tying goal in Game 5. Defensively, Klingberg brought steady play on the back end, with five hits, and six blocked shots.

I dont disagree but im going to say bouchard. After the season he had and after the first 2 games of this series…i wanted him in bakersfield.
Real ones remember who Klingberg was in his prime. Karlsson was always in a league of his own, but Klingberg was right up there for years.
75% of Klingbergs upside is all we needed, and we're getting that. 26 minutes in game 4 was astounding.
If we can get Ekholm back, i like our D corps better than last years run.
Perry. Twice as many minutes, points and goals expected this year.
Klingberg is only a surprise if you don’t know the burden of living with chronic pain. When I heard him say he was playing without pain for the first time in his career, I don’t even care how old you are, you are about to pop off in a big way. Think about how much fun he must be having, it’s like being a kid again just lacing up for him. And to be on the Oilers making a run?? Expect even more from him going forward
