The Winnipeg Jets did the unthinkable last night. How? Why? And does it even matter?

Thank you so much for watching!
I don’t know who actually reads this deep into the description but I appreciate you more than most for actually doing that. You’re just hella academic and one could say you’re a bit of a book worm.

  1. pulled an all-nighter to get this one done so naturally there are a couple mistakes:

    1. Rick Bowness retired, he wasn't fired
    2. it's Vladislav Namestnikov, not Vladimir

    Hope you guys still enjoy!

  2. As a Canadian, I can tell you — there is no other Canadian NHL team that unites us like the Jets do.

  3. I was howling when the jets won, never been happier to see a team other than the Canucks advance, but To St. Louis’s credit, they did not suffer a collapse to lose the game. They got unlucky with some garbage goals and played their asses off. My hat goes off to Binnington and the blues as truth be told they should have won that game.

  4. I appreciate the effort that went into making this video so quickly. I'm an oilers fan, but that game 7 had me buzzing. I hope to face the Jets in the conference final!

  5. I take offence to the “ it’s a Canadian team” as a reason not to want to play there…. Hockey was born in this country and if you don’t want to ever represent it in a professional capacity then you aren’t a true hockey player. Regardless of where you were born. Btw The NHL was formed here in Montreal in 1919.

  6. This and the Dallas losing by 3 going into the 3rd and a former teammate of the Avs scores a hat trick and gets an assist to get all 4 points to eliminate his old team that didn't want to pay him.. You couldn't make this up if you wanted too. Its poetic and hurtful on all levels

  7. is corey perry worth doing a video on? kinda cool how the vet can keep his play up.

  8. Can we just put to bed the accusations that it’s hard to retain talent in Winnipeg? All of our big name players have signed long term. Opposing players have some misconceptions against Winnipeg that keep them from coming here, but ones that do, often choose to stay here.

  9. Not really the most unlikely. In the playoff ok.. However the Canucks came back from a 3 goal deficit in the last minute.
