This Just Got EXTREMELY Interesting…
Things have just gotten extremely interesting for the Boston Bruins as a brand new report has revealed a very interesting trade that the Boston Bruins have to explore here in this off seasonason regarding one of the most interesting players in this year’s offseason. We’re going to be breaking it all down here in this video. Very quickly before we jump into it, be sure to hit the sub button if you haven’t already. We are on the road to 7K and we know that just over 75% of you guys watching right now are not hitting that sub button. would help us out greatly and we appreciate all of your support here on the channel. But let’s get into this video. A very interesting report has come out from a New York Rangers source detailing that there could be a very interesting trade happening with the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. And Bruins fans have a right to be hyped about this. And before I get into it, blink your eyes. Look at this. This is a real report from the Rangers. Now, let’s get straight into it. the Bruins acquire Mika Zabinad and a second round pick in exchange for Casey Middstat. Yes, you are reading this right. Looking at this trade now, looking at it on paper, looking at the way that we’ve been able to see these, you know, players and assets kind of work together here in the respective teams is something that the Bruins need to jump bomb. We’re looking at Mika Zabin, a player who has been so good for the past few years, a centerman, someone who is under contract, someone who’s been able to prove themsel in the NHL that they are a top player in this league in exchange for someone who you never really know what is going to happen to. Now, this is all, you know, looking at this, this is all what we’re seeing in the offseason moves about Mikas have been the Bruins trying to get us center. It plays out very, very well. And we’re going to jump into how things like this managed to work out. This comes from the forever blueshirts.com a New York Rangers website and saying you can read the tea leaves as much as you want but the only thing that we know for sure is that Mikas have been a judge sold his townhouse on West 12th Street in the West Village this week per Crane’s New York business. Now when all this came out we heard oh my god Mika Zabinad is not coming back to this team. He’s planning on leaving. He’s planning to leave in the shadows of darkness. And now all the speculation has come down to reports about Mika Zabinad being freed. We know the Boston Bruins are a team looking to add. They’re looking to add down the middle. They’re looking to add forwards. And it’s been proven that they need center throughout this season with all the injuries they’ve had with Matt Poer’s injury in the past with Elias Lindholm not playing up to the level that they had hoped when they had signed him this year. And when we look at Mika Abinadab and a second round pick, this seems like a steal for the Boston Bruins. And as you see here, the second round pick is due for the fact that they would have to take on Zabinad’s contract with no retention. However, the Bruins shipped out quite a bit at the deadline. This is a contract that works for them. There’s no doubt about that in my mind. And while this is less of a cap dump, the Bruins would have a first line center in Zabin who could play alongside David Poshnak because this is what this report is saying here. And absolutely, you put him alongside David Poshnak, you put them along with Morgan Geek, that line could be one of the best lines in the NHL. But when you’re looking at the contract of Mika Benjam, when you’re looking at him as a player, as you know, the money on the paper, I guess we could say in this terms, when you’re looking at him being able to fit down the middle here, there’s a a big bit of money, I guess we could say, down the middle, if Mikas’s $ 8.7 million contract comes in here with Eliza’s 7.7, Pavaka’s 4.7, and assuming middle’s gone, that removes that $6 million there. But it goes to show that this team with Morgan Geeki’s new contract are looking to spend some money. And looking at Mikas, that’s 8.5, excuse me, not 8.7, for five more years. This contract definitely does seem like a lot of money on the surface. But when we look at this next contract uh or this contract with the next coming years, the cap uh going up, the salary cap going up for about four to five million a year is what we’re looking at right now. And we know that this growth is going to continue. has been projected to continue and making this contract in a few years look like a steal and that’s where the Bruins really need to swoop in and take this as a future asset while also helping out now and we know the Bruins are looking to add you go and get a guy like Mikas a Benijab they don’t come along every day and you have him in here listed as a depth center on the third line here for the New York Rangers and of course when you go back to this Vincent Troek JT Miller they do have some great centermen and it really goes to show that Mika Jazz certainly looks like he is going to be shipped out of New York here in this offseason and when you’re looking at $ 8.5 million contract with the cap space going up and putting that in comparison with the wild lines here as we look at it Elias Lovel’s contract David Pashnock’s contract Morgan Geeki’s next contract you know all these ones that are a bit expensive right now in a couple years will be much better looking and give the the the Bruins a lot more of a um you know free freed up cap space a lot more options a lot more room to be able to make these extra moves and when you’re looking at a center as the Bruins are here in this year and when you’re looking at the crowd out in the the group that are available in free agency this year or via trade. You do get a much better option for a bit of a more expensive price and you’re not going to go out and shop as much as you likely would have, but it gives them a much bigger boost in this year. Assuming that we’re going to be bringing up a lot of younger players this year, assuming that a lot of these younger guys are going to be earning spots in this lineup as we’ve been able to see that Don Sweeney say that they’re not going to be given, they have to earn them. It makes a lot of sense when it does come down to it. When we’re looking at Mika Benedrad here, it’s his season this year. Let’s just say it wasn’t as great as what he has been in the past. 32 years old as of a few days ago or a month ago. So happy blade of birthday mikad. But at 6 foot2 playing nearly 20 minutes 20 minutes time on ice and he did go through quite a few uh lines this year at the on the NHL level with the Rangers. And it goes to show we saw that this year at the Boston Bruins as well that if you’re not in a consistent line, you will not be able to get your chemistry going and ultimately not play the level you wanted to. at 6 points in 82 games this year. He has not been a bad center and especially playing depth for quite a bit of this year and putting him into a role that he’s been able to be in the past few years as number one number two center. We can see him bounce back to that level that he was. I’m pairing him with David Pashnak. You can put anybody with David Poshak and Morgan Geeki this year as well. Pairing him with him, we’ve been able to see that these players have been very good and Mikabanad not known to be a goal scorer but more as a playmaker. putting him with pot, putting with geeky, assuming that would be a line that they would be interested in is a very good look for this team. And as we kind of move into this offseason, as we move into the Bruins trying to plan out what they’re going to do, they have to consider Mika Zabad as a option here as someone that is looking to be, you know, off this third line, move him somewhere else, get a fresh start and go there. Now, the one thing that would really hinder this trade would be the no move clause that Mika Zabinad has. He’s stated that he’s wanted to stay with this team, but if things kind of go south, if management in this team still kind of, you know, decides to make some interesting decisions that not what the team agrees with, there is a trade that is widely open with the Boston Bruins. As long as the Boston Bruins are interested in this, and I can’t see why they wouldn’t, things look to be very, very interesting. And I guess as we kind of go back to Mika Zenj’s previous stats never had a 100 point season but when we go to a 91 point a 72 point 62 point this year 81 a couple years ago he’s been very consistent at that you know point per game level nearly and he’s been a very very good playmaker and also has been proven that he can score goals his 30 goal season 41 39 and you know the assist has been always exactly what we’ve wanted to see from any other team standpoint and has been a playoff player don’t mind that my apologies but jab once again excellent option. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Are you okay with Amika Zabad kind of contract being here? Gives the Bruins another pick in the second round. Goes into what the Bruins need as a centerman, someone who can play the wing, do whatever they want on forward and look at him as an available option for this team. And let me know what you think. 8.5, five more years left on this contract. We’ll be 37 when he expires, but obviously, you know, the cap will be up a lot by then. Contract will not be looking like an 8.5 more like a a $5 million contract maybe. So, let me know what you think in the comments below about Mika Zabinage. That’s all I got in this video. So you are telling me Sweeney is willing to pay this old softy 8.5 million for 5 more years but wasn't willing to pay Marchy 7.5? What a scumbag.
Idk not thrilled about bringing in older players this seems like another broken band aid. But if the idea is to flip zibanejad I’m all for it. But I don’t want that contract either, you can’t sugar coat it using the rising cap because of the rising age.also the no move clause kills this deal for me.
i dont know one team who is jumping at the opportunity to acquire Zibanejad at this time and that's how it should remain until MZ can prove he can perform close to his contract value.
Good trade. Go ahead!
Do we not learn from the past? Used to be one of the best players in the league but has regressed. We predicted Lindholm would be raised up by Pastrnak but he didn't. I just am not comfortable with the heavy salary tied in. It sucks but ZIbanejad is not the player he used to be, neither is Lindholm. Mittelstadt is younger, cheaper and has the higher upside at this point.
No thanks
This is a very bad deal at 8.7 million a year. This is the Rangers doing a salary dump on the Bruins. He is past his prime.
i would trade sweeney, cam neely, half the our roster and swayney for Austin Mathews
As usual screw the future to make the playoffs to get bounced the first round. This team needs to build with young talent.
No way Zibanejad is 32 on the decline no way, don’t do it.
Mittelstadt is still young and has potential. But if we don’t start seeing who he really is then zibenajad will be gone
This is all hear say. I'm just going to wait till the Bruins make some official statement on who being signed and who's getting the boot.
Good trade for now
Bad deal. Mika's to old.
Hyped?? Not interested. The B's do not need another aging player.
Keep Middlestat
This trade must not be made. Why trade a younger Mittelstadt who is in his prime for a 32 year old hasbeen who is washed up. Yep That's Sweeney for ya. Always making bad trades.
"The best trades are the ones that are never made". -Unknown
Rangers would have to add a first not a second and also retain salary, otherwise no way I make that move. Larkin apparently wants out of Detroit, that is a player I would look to acquire.
Nope
Not going to plug that hole with him…
I'm calling bs.. amateur guessing
Terrible deal. And you wouldn't pay Marchy????
Kirk you don't have a clue
This is NOT happening
regressing….not worth the money
32 years old? please nooo
Because over an 82 game season, he would have been -77.
We would be absolutely fucking stupid to make this trade. Who the fuck is hyped about this???
Lysell is not NHL ready.
Zibanejad??? Ridiculous!
Don't love it, I'd rather see marner. No way they can afford both of them and a big move needs to happen, I don't see this being a game changer
Get him, Nylander, and bring Ully back to have a mini team Sweden with the Lindholm’s. Let’s gooo 😂😂
As a Ranger fan please take Mika
