My failures in math don't allow me to understand any of these cap / Carey Price contract numbers.
Price was an awesome player still one of my favorites of all time.. but I really think he was overpaid for the time.. again great goalie but he never won anything.. Andy's been a huge anchor ever since he retired
No big decision. It’s a simple one. Trade price for the savings. Sign him to a single day down the road so he can retire a Hab. Pleky was captain and was used the same way. Easy peasy.
They don't have a big decision to make. They are finally in the last year of this mess of a contract. Suck it up and live it out. It's two more years of 12$ million for Gallagher and Anderson. Suck it up and then get ready to spend…in two years. Don't throw bad money after bad. Or if you do sign someone now, dont make another mistake.

Hellebuyck would have to shut everyone out for the rest of the playoffs. It's like betting auston matthews. Usually by the second round there is a narrative. Those two have zero buzz right now.
Rants has been the goat in the playoffs his entire career. The only other that comes to mind as a playoff goat was Claude Lemieux.
Does it make any difference to shed UFAs on the Habs…. Dvorak, Armia and anyone else to help free up some money?
Beck, Reinbacher, Florian X, might be ready to come up at entry level money.
