On today’s episode of Locked On Stars, Joey Erickson reacts to the Dallas Stars 5-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in Game 3. Built off a 3 goal third period the Stars dominated the final 20 minutes to dispose of the Jets and Mikko Rantanen made more history. The Stars depth scoring came out in a big way with goals from Wyatt Johnston, Alex Petrovic and Thomas Harley to lift the Stars to a 2-1 series advantage. In the next segment, Joey highlights the play of Lian Bichsel and Petrovic and how instrumental they have been this postseason. To close out the show Joey discusses the winning formula for the Stars and how dangerous they can be when play like they did in the 3rd period.

This is great but having a healthy miro should would be nice
I want sure they’d step up at home given their record but a 5-2 victory is great 😊. Mikko Ratenen got another point he’s been a big factor in this series. Jamie Ben played tough and physical which is what the team needs from him no stupid penalties through 3 games. It feels like the other lines were contributing as far as scoring goals.

Cant wait to see miro and rant (and rest) next year. I think maybe colorado was minimizing rants abilities, so much so maybe he himself did not know. I could tell from game one with dallas, extremely intelligent player. Next year, about the halfway point, we’re probably going to witness one of the best teams ever put together.
