Marchment slashes official Skilliter – Tough Call Recommendation

Mason Marchment wasn’t happy with a few non-calls, so he decided to slash the official. There was no penalty issued at all. ???

  1. It's wild how inept the NHL is at enforcing the rules. How does that official not make a call? He was literally hit on the shin pad and does nothing?

  2. dallas fan here, absolutely insane out of mason. especially after hes been getting all the penalties he has this playoffs. get a grip

  3. It all happens so quick the ref prolly didn’t quite register that an nhl player literally did this. Marchment should get the 10 games… idiotic play

  4. They rewarded them after with a kick goal that took them ages to call just for them to score right after how are you gonna reward a team that slashed you and yelled at you at the end of the period and the start of the period how much did they pay could have easily thrown the coach and player out the game for abuse of officials its probably cause he said sorry so with that saying go out there and hurt them cause all you have to do is say im soggy

  5. I guess if they’re not calling things, it makes sense for them not to call this either?? But yeah, this shouldn’t happen. Should be penalized, should probably be suspended; might get a fine…

  6. should havee been a 5min major.

but that would mean a Canadian team would been given an advantage and we cant have that…

  7. The idea that should warrant a ten game suspension when deliberate hits to the head often go unpunished or get a game or two is stupid. He barely tapped the ref. I think the ref let it go because he know he egregiously swallowed his whistle when Marchment got interefered with in a pretty violent matter.

We're not gonna say anything about an indisputable penalty the ref watched and just said "play on" but we want to suspend a guy ten games bc he tapped the ref on the shin.

Hockey fans are the dumbest of all sports when it comes to this stuff.
