I had just as bad of a meltdown last night as Austin, maybe even worse! The Oilers are so afraid of allowing a shot against Skinner they seem to overreact and forget to play simple and basic defense!!! Last night was a very bad way to loose !!!

You can spend a whole year debating who is better, Stu or Picard, but the truth is that they are both mediocre. 😇 For the Oilers' superstars, a good goalie is far more important than a few mediocre supporting players. The fish rots from the head )) 😜 I blame the Oiler GM for ignoring the goaltending problems for so long. Instead of buying a bunch of mediocre players like Henrique, Stecher, Emberson and losing good players like Foegele, McLeod, Holloway, Broberg, he should be looking for a goalie like Blackwood. Q: Is it possible to rent a goalie now?

Here is my take on last night, you win as a team you lose as a team, the last goal was a comedy of errors. Skinner wasn't good but he wasn't the only one. The team plays scared in front of him, as a fan I get scared with every shot taken, I don't recall a goalie in the NHL ever looking this uncomfortable saving pucks. He has the yips, I truly believe if he is to stay in the NHL next year he needs a change of scenery, that will be the best thing for him and the team. All that said I hope he can find some resemblance of an NHL goalie, right now he definitely isn't at that level.
Austin – I disagree with you on blaming that one on Skinner. As someone who played hockey growing up – Stu did the right thing to cut down on the angle. That shot was clearly going wide. Stuff happens.
We are passionate to them, so we were literally mad and had a bad weekend, very rational.

It was a complete breakdown but to blame Draisaitl solely is clown behavior. He was trying to cover up the open net. If anyone gets a pass, it's 29 for slinging this team on his back. Can't say the same for Stu this year. My fear for Nurse is hes only on this team because hes besties with the captain.

Do not agree with your take. But im a fan of your channel for sure! Pointing out skinner having a big fivehole in the end goal? What? The puck is past being able to be shot five hole?at that point he has to follow it with his pad, kind of a weird take.. Skinner nailed that play on an insane move and fake by smith. Go oilers always, but that was a huge fake and sold everyone on it, sick hockey play, mcdavid does that to the other team we are calling him a god. Stu stays in the net like everyone is saying, Smith buries the clapper as stu is not far enough out and everyone rips him for not being out far enough and costing us. It's just wild. Knobber said he played good and he had no bad goals. I fully agree. Driasiatl had good intentions at the end, but he caused the goal. Thats hockey. Its literally the goalie I'm worried about I'm fine with most of the lines. Austin I have enjoyed your videos for however long I've been subscribed to you and you never have once showed me that you over react, passionate YES but never over react. After watching the goals back again this team has GOT to play better. That first goal the 2 on 1 nurse lays down (which he did for all 4 goals) the pucks goes wide and all the oilers stand there puck watching while a Vegas guy is just sitting there with NOBODY NEAR HIM and he gets the rebound because skinner falls and gets it in. Now look at the replay and where is Bouchard? ON THE 2 ON 1 HE LITERALLY STOPED SKATING AT THE BLUE LIKE AND DIDNT SKATE FOR SEVEN WHOLE SECONDS to get to the guy in front of the net like WTF. The second goal I will put a lot of blame on skinner because he should have had that 5 hole blocked with his stick but again, nurse laying on the ground. The 3rd goal is a line change when Vegas has the puck at our BLUE LINE and it becomes a 4 on 2 and nurse is laying on the ground and skinner lets it in… and ofc that last play all oilers puck watching AGAIN skinner makes maybe the right play? Maybe not? And drai accidentally puts it in. I just want people to rewatch the goals with a clear mind and not even look at the guys scoring but look at the oilers around and what they’re doing and it really opens your eyes.

Skinner's game is off. No doubt about that. He has been off all year. But the entire team was off last game. I get frustrated with the Oiler's because when they play their game they are unstoppable. But again they were sloppy and they gave up a lead again (why can this team NOT keep a lead is beyond me). They need to focus, they need to pay attention to details, they need to keep the gas on and keep the pressure on from puck drop till the end. We need a full 60 minutes from this team and we have only seen that in two games this playoffs from this team.

Neither Stu is an awful goali, nor Pickard is a good goali. It's overreaction on both sides in different directions.
Both are pretty average and not good enough for a contender in playoffs. When Stu let's in some goals it just looks worse sometimes.
Post-reactions should be raw and sometimes over the top. Definitely in the camp of appreciation of your more even keeled content, but I don't think you should hold back during reactions!
