Start Rodrigue game 4 for a chance
Match the intensity and stop overlooking details that help you win !
Crap
Pat you always support the pylon skinner sucks can't play in edmonton he needs to be moved he is garbage.another lost monday as the pylon is in net again.he is garbage
Stop making excuses for 74. Record says it all 0-3.
This WASN'T a Stuart Skinner problem. It was a Leon and Connor one. Leon was personally responsible for 3 of the goals against and Connor for the other. They seem to rely on Stu to stop things instead of giving the same level of D they do for Pickard. Stuff happens.
Trade skinner, been saying it for a long time now.. Enough pity.. Let him go.
Bye bye Stanley Cup. Lets see if Skinner can get to 4 and 0.
in my opinion it was 100% draisaitl fault even tho their were many mistakes by the whole team but who in there right mind trys to stop a puck by puting ur stick on the backhand side on a angle in the blue paint like that? lol
The only thing that even makes sense anymore would be if one of Katz’ billionaire buddies bet him that they’d never win a cup with Skinner in net. We can get guys like Perry, Fredric and Klingberg but not a Fleury, Quick or Jarry?
Was soooo deflated when Vegas tied it up so fast 😪 the entire game the oilers seemed lazy. 2 goals gifted by Draisatl and Stu skinner 😭 total BS!
Skinner in net = Scheduled loss
That puck misses the net if Leon leaves it alone. Bad break
Stu was not out of position at all, he made the save. If Leon had left it alone it wasn't going in the net and we'd all be talking about the amazing save Stu made in the last second of regulation.
The First line was on for all the goals. 13 minutes of good hockey.
We're screwed, why has management not addressed the goaltending.
Poor defense ,team 75% fault for loss 25% skinner
Guess we're losing this round! 😢
Teams win and lose. Gave away the puck way too easy as well as blind passes. 10 more wins are required and there isn’t room for passengers. Over playing McD and Drai didn’t allow other lines to wear down the opponent. Time for the the boys to reload and win game 4.
I would put Drai on second line centering Nuge who can help support on the defensive end
Oilers will rebound in the next game.
Oilers in 5
You can spend a whole year debating who is better, Stu or Picard, but the truth is that they are both mediocre. 😇 For the Oilers' superstars, a good goalie is far more important than a few mediocre supporting players. The fish rots from the head )) 😜 I blame the Oiler GM for ignoring the goaltending problems for so long. Instead of buying a bunch of mediocre players like Henrique, Stecher, Emberson and losing good players like Foegele, McLeod, Holloway, Broberg, he should be looking for a goalie like Blackwood. Q: Is it possible to rent a goalie now?
i wish they would show urgency when making a line change. they lazily slough their way toward the bench. skate your ass to the bench and gtfo the ice.
Scorey Perry was our only good player last night.
Thanks for not putting it all on skinner. He is to blame but definitely not all
We aren't winning with stu
At this point, I’m hoping Delia gets a shot of Skinner shits the bed again tmr. A lot of people were rooting for Rodrigue but he’s simply not ready. Delia has more experience and more of a vet so I hope he can go if Pickard is still not ready yet.
I think i would start Stuart and if he shows any signs of weakness i'll pull him and put Rodrigue. The Oilers are in a tough spot
Watch the replay when McDavid is on the bench after Stuart Sieve Skinner let's 2 goals in 53 seconds. By watching the reaction body language says Stuart Sieve Skinners days are numbered in Oilers colors. Being a local product doesn't win cups, real Goaltending like Pickard has given us wins cups
If not for Pickard, this playoff run would have ended against LA.
Who got us to game 7 of the finals last year. Skinner. Y’all have really poor memory… armchair critics who never goal-tended themselves.
Vegas first 2 goals they got , they wasn't that hard to stop , Skinner should have made saves on them .
The funny thing was they had a chance to pretty much eliminate Vegas and now if they lose game four, Vegas get home ice back and the Oilers probably lose this series…. Funny that both TO and EDM both have 2-0 leads, the NHL lets the other team hurt their goalies with no consequences and by tomorrow both series will probably be 2-2… Bettman Parity I guess…
Pickard won't be playing anymore that I know of so Oilers lose.
SS lost the lil edge he had!
Confidence is shot!
We had no goalie for a LONG TIME!
Fuhr/Moog still my favourite pair!
Too much blame being put on Skinner. He's become this year's Cody Ceci. Fans always seem to need someone to rag on. That goal by Riley Smith probably would never have happened if there weren't two Oiler players going for a swim on the ice in front of him. If either one of them had stayed on his skates and challenged the shooter like they're supposed to do Smith would not have been able to get a shot away at Skinner. And then there's that other goal where a Knights player skated untouched right through two Oiler players to score on Skinner. Doesn't matter if those players were forwards. Can't just stick check on a play like that. Have to at least try to take the body. That's not Skinner's fault. Why does it seem that the Oiler forwards are back playing defense so often and not in the sense of backchecking? Where are the defensemen? Why was Draisaitl the only Oiler back in our goal crease in that last second? Does the Vegas defense play that way? Nope. You don't see them going for a swim in front of their goalie. They stand their ground. They stay on their skates. They don't leave an opposition player a wide-open path to their goalie. Oilers starting to fall back into their old habit of playing crappy defense especially leaving their goalies hung out to dry. Vegas is clearly starting to take over the series. Next game must win for the Oilers.
