Toronto Maple Leafs fan here. It was a great 40 minutes of hockey but its a best of three now. I don't count the first 20 because the refs decide to start calling everything which is pretty hilarious considering all the shit they let go. Florida played a good hard checking game and like i said from the beginning this series is going 7.
The Leafs beat themselves with stupid penalties and stupid defensive marking. Tavares, as much as I love him, is too slow and out of position. Mathews seems weak and floaty. Tanev is a beast but Reilly is too soft and gives the puck away too much. The rest looks o.k. The Leafs can beat the Panthers if they come out disciplined and determined. They barely got in front of the goalies eyes this game. Too many shots were unscreened.
Maybe someone in this extremely knowledgeable YouTube channel can answer a question for me. Why is it every time a Florida Panther gets hit they lay on the ice or they run off the ice like little girls? Because all I hear is how tough Florida is but every time they get hit they lay on the ice.
