I think whatever metro team that makes it through will be CRUSHED, but the Canes are soo close to being a real threat.
I am not going to count the Capitals out just yet. It ain’t over until it’s over.
Carolina just drains the clock until the third period. So does Winnipeg and Dallas stars. There scheme is to send 6 back to the defensive zone and play back and dump the puck in with limited pressure to limit getting in your dzone and slow breakouts to just dump the puck and have one guy get the puck.
It’s all coaching and schemes if the coach says play boring you are going to get all 6 players not pinching at all.
Canes haven’t had to hit ovi because he hasn’t really done anything
If the Cats don’t win it, I’d like to see the Caps win and Ovi ride off into the sunset on top of the world.
If not the Caps, then Dallas.
It’s hard not to root for Rantanen.
