The last two game winning goals are a clinic in talent vs intelligence. McDavid going through the nuetral zone and then breaking the defenders knees to create a 2 on 1 was a pure talent display. Smith came into the zone 1 on 3. faked a shot to drop both defenders, and turned it into a 1 on 1 vs Skinner, who HAD to come out to play the angle, Smith delayed to keep Skinner moving instead of squaring up, which gave him the opening too slide the puck past Skinner, yes. oon replay, it was going to go through the crease had Draisytl not touched it, but you got to give Props to Smith for the intelligence he displayed creating the opportunity. Oiler fans, do not think I am slighting McDavid, the man has been a pleasure to watch for 10 years, and while I do not think he is better than Wayne or Mario, I do think he is in the same league as Ovechkin and Jagr in their primes.
