Sorry Panthers fans, my fault. I can't do my normal routine during the games. Another f ing birthday. Good news is, Friday I am staying home and working out all game long. Saturday a birthday, had to check the schedule and yeah game is on sunday because saturday is out of town birthday event in Orlando. The reverse shirt for Leafs playoffs didn't help. Panthers bought into their own hype and hopefully got a wake up call. So much out of position and just making dumb play after dumb play. Its like they havent seen a playoff game before and panicking. Woll is a really good goalie and almost got the Leafs past the Bruins last year, but was injured. 2 years before that he almost got the Leafs back in the series against the Panthers and kept them alive. Toronto puts some defense in front of their quality goalies and all of a sudden they look like high end goalies. Crazy idea. Panthers need to stop with the over pressing on the D because they are giving gifts to the Leafs.
I really would like the Leafs to win but I want that conditional first from the Marchand trade. Otherwise it feels like we just got fleeced by the Panthers

i'm not at ease with Woll in the net, yes he can make amazing saves at times but he also gives up easy goals! 2 already from the same angle with virtually nobody in front of him (to his right)
i wouldn't be at ease if the Leafs were up 3-0 because a) the Panthers can turn it on in a matter of minutes and b) the Panthers can EASILY win the next two games and be back in the series
the Leafs will need a miracle to win 1 game in Florida and then maybe they can do it but they're gonna have to keep doing the same thing they did the first 2 periods of game 1! i hope Stolarz is back for game 4
also, if anything it's the Panthers who have had help from the referees! the cross checking against Domi 'cause he bumped into Marchand! the too many men in game 1!!!

Things turned around for the Panthers org once they stopped doing things they usually would do in the playoffs. Eventually got the cup. Who knows, this might be it for the Leafs.
As a Leaf fan, agreed, if you just call the penalties, there is no reason to worry. Idiotic to "even things up"
Leafs said “How can we beat Florida at their own game?” and so far they have done it. But each game has been a one goal difference. Patch has been incredible.

Ekbad elbowed Joseph woll during the 2 game and was no call from the officials. Panthers are clearly trying to hurt leafs goalkeepers, cheaters are desperate.

Leafs fan here. I precicted the Panthers in 5 games. I never ever expected this 2-0 lead. Still this IS Florida and 3 of the next 5 games are in Florida so this series can easily turn around in Florida's favour. Game 3 is so key. It is the swing game. If the Leafs can squeak out a Game 3 win……….maybe just maybe we can get rid of the Panthers. Florida is the best team in the NHL so if the Leafs can beat them, the sky is the limit and a berth in the SCF is dare I say possible. Can you only imagine in the Leafs go to the finals. The city of Toromto will go bezerk.
