One of the nicest guys I had to pleasure to meet while I worked at the Marriott. What a career hes had!
Saw him in person while we were both picking up our kids at daycare. We have gone to blackhawks practices and games and seen him from the stands but in person-that man is truly a Big Rig. 10 Pat Maroons destroy a silverback lol.

This guy does NOT want to retire. He is forced to because there were no organizations interested in picking him up. That is not a criticism of or insult to Patty. I adore him. But it’s evident to me this retirement was the last thing he wanted to do. It is incredibly sad. He’s still a great player. He’s just not what teams apparently want that are positioning themselves for the future.
Geez! Let him tell his Philly story without interrupting!
