Aleksander Barkov and Brad Marchand scored for Florida but it wasn’t enough. Then Mikko Rantanen had a natural hat trick as the Dallas Stars beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 to take a 1-0 series lead.
Then they preview today’s games. The Washington Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights look to protect home ice against the Carolina Hurricanes and the Edmonton Oilers. Alex Ovechkin will be looking to have a big game to help his team even the series at 1. Mark Stone and Jack Eichel will look to help Vegas even their series against the likes of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
